Firsttly, I dont think anyone knows he wanted $700K. Probably Pritchard and that fellow from the Qld cup. That would about do it. Pritchard will probably only play about six games next year anyway.

Kaysa wouldn't be on much more then min and either would other guy. Other guys irrelevant as need to replace spot with another min.

So what would Kaysa cost? 150k MAX

Gould thinks he’s a big chance of staying at Parra
And he will. Nobody else wants him. He needs to think about his post football career now and there is more chance of that happening at Parra than any other club.

What the f**k would we employ him to do after he finishes with football? He's as dumb as a post.
Agree ... i dont really see much for him after footy ... he has never come across as a likeable kind of person - he is a skillful athlete and when that stops he will want to hope he has some good investments stashed away

He could have Brett Kenny's old job.

While I have no idea what roles are available, potentially he could provide value to the club in:

- Working the corporate boxes on game day
- Function work with sponsors (speeches, wining/dining etc etc )
- helping development officers with their school visits / training
- marketing work, visit potential sponsors / help with memberships recruitment etc etc
- work with our “islander” players in a player welfare style role
- junior role in the area for “islander” welfare or something in that area
- charity work club does
- eels ambassadors for the South Pacific Islands. Visit and run training camps, promote the game, spot potential players
- help with junior / senior recruitment, by showing players “around” obviously not negotiations
- potentially could help with skills training through all grades

So you think Pritchard / Davey are on more (or slightly more) then the minimum? If wouldn’t make any difference if we didn’t sign them in regards to signing Hayne as we wouId still need 2 more players in the squad.

I say Pritchard would be on more than the minimum, but not considerably more.

So you'd fill spot 29 in the squad with him and have only Pritchard as the only recognised hooker in the Club? Or are you suggesting we commit to our 30 players in the middle of November, when we don't have for another 8 months??

So you don't know what he has got going on in his life...so he is doomed? Haha, this is stupid.

I think we need him, yes. More than Pritchard and I actually rate Kaysar.

I never said he is doomed ... i said i dont see what he has after footy - in terms of being involved in the nrl

Maybe he will become an evangelist?

According to Hayne's Tweet that was posted here last night, we have never made him an offer
