Agree ... i dont really see much for him after footy ... he has never come across as a likeable kind of person - he is a skillful athlete and when that stops he will want to hope he has some good investments stashed away

While I have no idea what roles are available, potentially he could provide value to the club in:

- Working the corporate boxes on game day
- Function work with sponsors (speeches, wining/dining etc etc )
- helping development officers with their school visits / training
- marketing work, visit potential sponsors / help with memberships recruitment etc etc
- work with our “islander” players in a player welfare style role
- junior role in the area for “islander” welfare or something in that area
- charity work club does
- eels ambassadors for the South Pacific Islands. Visit and run training camps, promote the game, spot potential players
- help with junior / senior recruitment, by showing players “around” obviously not negotiations
- potentially could help with skills training through all grades

So you think Pritchard / Davey are on more (or slightly more) then the minimum? If wouldn’t make any difference if we didn’t sign them in regards to signing Hayne as we wouId still need 2 more players in the squad.

So a friend told me Hayne will be announced by Tuesday next week on a 2yr deal

Just talked to my insiders and they said there will be announcement on Hayne within 48hrs. He seemed possitive that a deals been struck.

My insiders are saying we are going to pull our offer if Hayne doesnt sign by Friday.

Mick was a week out he said. Hayne however has signed and will be announced Tuesday.
