So you agree he's not a team player and we're better off without him Del?

Keep blaming coaches and administrators but it's no coincidence we've sucked ever since Hayne became the star of our team.

Pou, we are not better off without him as the club has not had time to use the cap space to rebuild

We can't take way the fact that he was possibly the best individual player in the game, and I know I was ion my feet almost every time he started to run. The frustration is that just as we seemed to have a plan to utilise his skill set with a decent coach, he does this , friggin destructive

Let's hope Peter Sharp and BA can weave a bit of magic. But time to do this was taken away by a pretty selfish decision

if he fails at NFL he can go and f**k off to another club or code as far as i'm concerned

The words, self centred, selfish prick come to mind

More pi**ed. off today, than when it was first announced, starting to realise it was all about Jarryd and the damage he has done to the club I follow by his actions

So has he got the right attitude for the club or not?

till desperate, Eels officials tried to discuss other options with Hayne.

“How about you just sit out the Four Nations, have a rest and see how you feel after that,’’ they said.

The Eels matchwinner listened, but he had already made up his mind to leave. He finally dropped the bombshell at 3pm on Monday.

Hayne phoned Eels chief executive Scott Seward and also head coach Brad Arthur to tell them.

The two Parramatta figureheads handled the decision with grace. Professional, respectful and aware that like so many opposition players who have tried to stop the Hayne Plane, there was nothing they could do to stand in his way.

If Hayne even makes the practice squad of an nfl team that is a remarkable achievement. I certainly am not bitter like some on here, he is simply wanting to test himself in the biggest sport comp in the world

I wish him all the best, and know how much it would be killing him to be away from parra.

Why would he go to canada to play? The Canadian league is different to the nfl, rules are diff etc, and besides high school American football is bigger then cfl

Hayne's move is inspirational.

I work with people from all over the country. Getting any NRL interest in Vic, SA or WA is hopeless. Any interest at all, no matter what happens, who wins or even Carney & the bubbler.

But Hayne has got people talking. And it is all positive.

This is a massive call from Hayne. And it is awesome.
