Of course we will, just stating that we were looking to be building something and without warning and not given the opportunity to use the cap properly, Jarryd did something selfish and denied the club a chance to cover the loss
As Avenger said, it's all about Jarryd
HOLIDAY OVER
SPARE a thought for Parramatta Eels coach Brad Arthur, who was overseas on a family holiday in Bali when Jarryd Hayne decided to drop his NFL bombshell.
Hayne telephoned Arthur to break the news, forcing the Eels coach to immediately put his recruitment hat on.
The Eels have already been linked to a string of fullbacks but the answer could be right in front of them. William Hopoate is the game’s next superstar and he has spent time in the No. 1 jumper

No it is not all about Jarryd. The club, fans and sport are in his debt already.
What he is attempting is rare. It really is inspiring. It is genuine. Enjoy the ride.
take a hike
the dog left us in the lurch
yup
Jodeci and Joely were both in the know yet never told anyone until after Hayne announced it
they just can't handle the fact that Hayne left us in lurch and instead want to blame the club
take a hike
the dog left us in the lurch
On reflection this was a selfish action by someone who only considered one person, himself
Burgess for instance gave the club time to recruit and use his salary cap space, JH could have left at th end of his contract or advised at the beginning of the season that he would go once it finished. That is what a real team player wold have done
So selfish of Hayne for not pleasing his fans by doing exactly what they say.
Disgusting.
Pretty much my thoughts as well Bazza, if he had of done the same thing as S Burgess i would have been devastated to lose him but he would have given the club the chance to soften the blow of him leaving us. He is irreplaceable but we would of had a whole season and off season to get next seasons squad together. This makes us selfish apparently :lol:Pretty much this. I've got absolutely no problem with JH wanting and deciding to leave. I wish him every bit of luck in the NFL. But, waiting until October 15 to confirm the decision (even assuming the club knew he was considering doing this for some time......you can't replace him until he says 'yep I'm going') is a dog act. His mates will make excuses for anything he does. I've never been a knocker of Jarryd's, but he now has the credibility of a vegetarian shark in my eyes.
