would be a very handy addition.

Also, at least 2 of Storm Players Cameron Smith, Billy Slater, Greg Inglis and Cooper Cronk will be looking for new clubs.

Slater will most likely be head hunted by the Broncos or Cowboys, We don't need Smith or Inglis, but Cronk would be handy.

Dont disagree in going for Cronk if they wish and yes, definitely go for Lima pronto. As long as Farah stays we dont need Smith but it does worry me sometimes with his back and whether he gets annoyed / upset with Teflon shifting him to halfback.

I would give my left nut for Inglis. He plays right side, would hopefully balance out our attack somewhat. Cronk would be next - just what we need, a halfback. Lima is probably the most likely and would bolster an already decent front-row. Let's be honest though, there aren't too many of their players I wouldn't want.

yes please for Cronk, we had the imposter Johny Cronk, lets go all out for the real one. Answer to most of our issues would be a descent halfback. Not saying that Lui isnt descent.. Ummmm yeah actually i am lol.

If we were to chase Cronk, how would we create an extra 300k in the cap minimum?

I'd be fairly confident that we have no room left under the cap at this stage.

Inglis is very ordinary this year,we have Moltzen,Lui,Taumata we really don't need Cronk even though he is a great player, ditto Smith,Slater would be awsome, but Tolman is who I would be chasing.

We have 3 injury prone halfbacks and no reserves.

alas, all 3 halfbacks are injured.

Lui is not first grade quality, Moltzen, while succesful, is passable, Taumata is more of a utility back (and a damn good one)

I'd be keen to have Cronk over anyone else in the Storm team.

my guess we have very little space in our cap, and the days of brown paper bags are out the window. Mind you we could dump quite a few players in our top 25 as Sheens dosnt rate them anyway

I think the Tigers would be as close to there cap as most clubs. I definetly wouldnt go for smith as a result of Farah. Cronk im also not sure. How good would he be without all his mates? Given that most clubs have a halfback however and we wouldnt have to be in a bidding war then it might be a good option.

Inglis and Slater, well id give anything for either of them, but lets be honest, every club with a dollar will be interested and I dont think we could match many clubs.

we don't need Inglis or Slater.

I'd rather have Inu over both of those.

Do you have an article or anything to back this up or is it just pure speculation?

Inu's kicking.

Anyway, Tolman or Lima should be our priority. Cronk will command too much and a team like Newcastle with a fair bit of space could snap him up.

We should have about 200k under... but then again, we happened to play an uncontracted player in round 1 so who knows?

You watch Inglis this weekend when he actually gets some ball (unless Hoff decides not to pass it), and Cooper will be the last person out the door in Melbourne.

We need a goalkicker, we need someone who can fit in anywhere in 1-5 and who has some ability.

Inu has this.

Slater is over rated, Inglis is hot and cold, besides Lawrence and Ayshford are good enough for us at this stage.

Inu and Lima would give us a bloody top side

My only problem with Inu is where does he fit in the team?

He's not going to take over from Ayshford or Lawrence who are both good players. Tuqiri has one wing locked down. Inu I don't think will be any better than Beau at fullback (if his recent performances are to be the norm) The only place he could fit in would be on the wing I guess, especially if the Tank is still struggling with his injury and is never back at full fitness.

When is the Tank due back anyway?

I know he's listed as indefinite but is there any educated guesses or inside words floating around?
