York Knights and Valkyrie. Unsure if these are home and away for both teams or if it is Knights and Valkyrie respective home jerseys (which is probably the most likely).

York kits are very nice as is the eagles home kit. York need to rebrand to Jorvik Vikings with Thor’s hammer as their emblem!
a Valkyrie wearing a knights helmet makes no sense!

Welcome to most sports leagues on the planet, where the main and alternate kits contrast.

Australian leagues are the weird ones when it comes to this stuff, not the SL.

They shouldn't change the colour of their own logo...that's what tips them over.

disagree, if we can ask sponsors to change brand colour no reason not to change badge colour for better integration on alternate jerseys. NRL do it with their badge.
As Dane says NRL clubs are quite unique in having alternate jerseys that are usually not very alternate. It does defeat the purpose!

I don’t disagree with your post but when has a sponsor changed their colour? Normally when a logo is designed, there are B&W, reverse and colour tinted packages to fit with media criteria but can’t think of a colour change. If it does indeed happen, somebody please tell NIB

Cash converters do it all the time,
you can see in the HKR kits colour change of sponsor brands to integrate with the kit colour

Why not? It integrates with the design better which leads to a better design and product.

KR's jerseys of the last few years have been some of the best in the business (I'd go so far as to say that their boilermakers jersey is the best pro-RL shirt released in at least the last five years, maybe even the last decade), and a large part of that has been their willingness and ability to integrate logos and sponsors.

The vast majority of clubs don't have the luxury of sponsors that are willing to integrate their logos, but KR do, so it'd be madness not to exploit that benefit.

They shouldnt change the club logo. It's their identity, moreso than the jersey.
Fans won’t mind as long as it’s done well/respectfully or there’s a good reason to do it. There could’ve been a backlash when Souths gave their home kit a black rabbit instead of a white one but the club listed it’s proud indigenous history as the thinking behind it. Pretty bloody good reason you’d have to say. Meanwhile, the majority of Roosters fans - if not all, are hoping for the silhouette cockerel to return.

I've never seen fan backlash to HKR changing the club logo colour. I think it looks much nicer, just like the NRL changing logo colour on different jerseys to blend better.

Its already on most of the apparel anyways, i prefer it, and i hate them... but in a tribalism sense, i prefer all the past logos of the 80/90s
Most of the new logos suck

I feel thats what made the jerseys more unique, was how well the badges looked on simple colored jersey, balmains was iconic
I liked Cronulla’s 70s f**k off, big, circular badge too. I can live with both for diversity. Souths and Norths’ original bear silhouette, are/were classics too.
