Why is that a shit thing to say? It is possible. Mave is pointing out that the lack of consistency and procedural fairness in the NRL's processes leaves it very open to exploitation.
And being "smart" or experienced doesn't help at all if someone makes allegations against you, until they are resolved. I've been through similar experiences, and if my work had been brought in to it I would have been "rested" indefinitely until I was cleared (which thankfully wasn't too long a period).
Everyone on here is crapping on about inconsistencies and unfairness from the nrl. Yes in the past (bstewart) 9 years ago. But if you all put away your club colours, the past couple years the nrl has been good. The Nrl should initially punish a player if it is a bad look for the game but hold there total judgment until charges have been laid or court decisions have been made. That is what the nrl is doing. No doubt Waiting to see if charges are going to be laid.
Too a point your right about being "smart" or "experienced" that is what the clubs are annoyed at is they have "bodyguards/minders" to stop that exact thing.
