Funny, when Flanagan and De Gois were Farah's deputies I always thought Flanagan was far superior to De Gois.
On Morris, I have to say, the guy was always one of my favourites when at WT, just because I like an underdog. A part of me is incredibly jealous to see that he is going so well for the Sharks in his proper spot. For mine, Morris's name should come up in Origin talk. He's like Ennis, except fitter, a far better defender and no shit talk. He is actually superior to Ennis in every way. He's also in far better form than Farah.
Flanagan owned De Gois when at the Tigers, but he never kicked on, whereas DeGois did (while at the Sharks)
Flanagan should have walked into and held down the hooking role at Canberra.
Morris has always been a very good hooker, and the few times he played there for the Tigers he always looked a million times better and much more comfortable.
He does have one annoying trait which he does too often at dummy half, and that is not passing the ball straight from the play the ball, he'll always run a few steps with it first then pass it. He gets away with it with a good strong pack around him, like he has now, but when the pack is being dominated, it kills momentum real quick and stunts the attack massively.
Other than that, he has a good kicking game from dummy half and will tackle all day long.
