JT didn't play in all three of those games.
Joey never really played consistently well at rep level, especially Origin.
2005 and that's about it
Shows how much you know.

What a considered response with clear rebuttals and facts.
As opposed to your initial comment full of facts right?
1995 World cup, 4 origin man of the match awards only one of those in 2005, dominated the poms in 2001 and has won 2 golden boots.
Throw in ripping QLD apart from the bench in 2000 and you have a pretty long and successful rep career spanning a decade and if it weren't for injury late in his career it would have been longer.
Yep pretty much just 2005.
You forgot about defence. Turnstile Thursto got ran over again today. That is a fact Canard has not commented on. Johns could play in the middle of the ruck and sit forwards on their arse. JT hopes they don't run his way.
I didn't Not mention it I responded to the dickhead who claimed JT was responsible for losing 2 games he didn't play in.
Like I said JTs rep career far outshines Johns, but I'm not claiming that makes him a better overall player

Yeah but you said Johns didn't play well other than 2005. So that kinda puts a massive red line through everything you say.
I love how you vehemently defend one thing but ignore the other.
Johns rep career wasn't as good or as consistent as Thurston's and in a 10 year Origin career he only played a handful of good games. He also played in an era when NZ were nowhere near as good as they are now. And England perhaps even worse.
95 world cup? Australia picked a weakened team (due to super league. Even guys like aaron raper and danny Moore made the australian squad) and were expected to be smashed by new Zealand and England
Not only do Australia win a seemingly unwinnable world cup,
Joey schooled Lockyer and Thurston in his final Origin series. Thurston has played against the worst halves pairing NSW has ever had since Joey retired.I love how you vehemently defend one thing but ignore the other.

Thurston doesn't have half the rep career he currently has if he was playing against decent NSW halves halves. We have to win games on the back of the other 15 carrying them. Queensland just have to have a few good moments from their halves to win games.
They got beaten last year by a team completely devoid of champion players. Hayne and Gallen might rate a mention, outside of that it's nuffy central when compared to either the QLD team or NSW teams of 10 years ago.The last time JT faced a great NSW Origin team was 2005 when Johns partnered by the likes of Buderus, Mini, Wing and Kennedy wiped the floor with Slater, Lockyer, JT and Smith.
No way would Qld win 8 in a row against a great Blues team like that. This Qld team has been GREAT but let's not pretend that they've done it against a Champion Team. Because when they did face a champion team they got beat resoundingly.

JT has been the dominant origin player over the 8 series run no denying that. He has been playing with the likes of Lockyer, Smith, Slater, Inglis, Hodges,....all of those guys have been considered the best at their position during the dominant QLD run and all besides hodges have been called the best in the world at some point. Its not like he has been dominating a better side or anything. His biggest rival from NSW has been Mitchell Pearce.
Joey was playing against such mediocre halves as Paul Green, Adrian Lam and Ben Ikin. And QLD fielded teams of players actually playing reserve grade at their club level.
