Johnsy in for his daily fix of his favourite pastime of Broncos bashing

Just so I am clear: we have Canterbury Bulldogs fans (a minority) laying the boot in to Brisbane Broncos indiscretions? Interesting. "Don't throw stones in glass houses" springs to mind.

Each to their own.

Barba and Hoffman are in completely opposite situations.

Barba lucked out in that his partner wanted to go to Queensland and he had a soft option available to get a high paying job. We have to remember that Benny was moving north no matter what - footy is a sideline for him. He's got a good contract at a club that isn't too strong so it's pretty much just a seachange of sorts in a professional sense - easier job for the same money. He won't play reserve grade and he won't get sacked, broncos only sack the small fry. If the bronco's had a gun spine then Benny would be working a shovel somewhere. Who knows if the Storm would have dealt with his crap if his partner went to melbourne. He got kicked up the arse by a rainbow, good luck to him.

Hoffman wants to change clubs to play footy in a hard position and has a chance to go to a club where things are tough. His only excuse for leaving brisbane is wanting to play footy, which ironically doesn't really wash as a reason for changing clubs in the NRL. He'd be better off saying he misses his pet dog.

It's hardly bad luck that his partner wanted to leave, he brought it on himself. It'd be tough to feel sorry for him if they had to live in different states

The NRL Integrity Unit would be all over Josh Hoffman like white on rice if he used "misses the pet dog" excuse after Monaghan went there.

Members got a pre-recorded phone message from hoffman saying he isn't gong anywhere this season no matter what number is on his back. Nice touch broncos.
