I'm toying with the idea of creating one with a few members from here. I can't give away to much information but you might be a special guest

If its called Bones on Bones it may prove very popular even outside of League supporters.I'm toying with the idea of creating one with a few members from here. I can't give away to much information but you might be a special guest
What subject would the podcast be on?

FMD!!!Did we all see the article which claims that Hodgson's player option for 2024 will be around $400,000 - implying he was signed for reasonably more this year ?
Hodgson was the one who triggered the option, and stands to earn around $400,000 next year.
I wonder if journos have access to financial records or if they just read the forums.Did we all see the article which claims that Hodgson's player option for 2024 will be around $400,000 - implying he was signed for reasonably more this year ?

Eels hopeful of Hodgson return for finals push
Veteran Parramatta hooker Josh Hodgson will see a specialist this week to find out the extent of a neck injury that forced him into surgery last month.
Parramatta are hopeful the former Canberra skipper will play a part in their run to the finals. However, there is a chance Hodgson could be ruled out for the rest of the season.
Regardless of the outcome of Hodgson’s meeting, the Eels recognise they need a hooker for the remainder of the season.
Brendan Hands has proven his usefulness since making his debut, but with Hodgson injured and Mitch Rein retiring mid-season, the Eels lack the depth they will require to challenge the best teams in the competition.
The club is trying to lure former player Joey Lussick, who is contracted to St Helens in Super League, back to Parramatta this season. The Eels still have a spot on their roster to fill.
Hodgson is in the first season of a two-year deal with the Eels. The contract included a mutual option for the second year.
If Hodgson took up the option, it would be for a lesser figure than what he would have been entitled to if the club took up the option.
Hodgson was the one who triggered the option, and stands to earn around $400,000 next year.
Come on mate we know the club doesn’t pay overs anymore. The player option (or player trigger of the mutual option) should have been $250K maximum... someone at the Club was sold a dodo.

I am loath to believe journo speculation.I wonder if journos have access to financial records or if they just read the forums.
His point is just to be part of the loud minority, no matter the topic.I am loath to believe journo speculation.
But I have slightly more confidence in their figures than your speculation - because yours is just designed to prove your circular logic.
Your point is literally that Hodgson "can't be on that much because he isn't worth that much".
For the record:So this is one of the occasions that we DO believe what journos say players earn ?
Papa signs $2m x 3 years with Tigers. Nah not true. He went for less because the club is hopeless.
Reed signed $2.4m x4 years. Nah not true. He went for less because the club is hopeless.
Marata signed $3.2m x 4 years. Nah not true. He went for less because the club is hopeless.
Hodgo's option year of $400k ! Yeah that's true. The club is hopeless !
It's hard to keep up TBH.
