A clause like the Raider shad for Croker around his player option (now preventing him from taking it up) should be mandatory for any aged player with a history of injury... looks like we dropped the ball on Hodgson's contract and player option!

The Raiders have also held sensitive conversations with Jarrod Croker about his future. Croker has a player option to continue next season, but the Raiders can opt out of the deal if he doesn’t play the required games to trigger the option.

He needed to be in NRL in 2022. We stunted his development and possibly ruined his career. I fear we've done same with Morretti by holding him back to long. If he doesn't make it then we know why.
