Mate my point was abouthis lineage. If you saw him sight unknown you would say he was an aboriginal. Hard to embrace William Wallace when that's the case.

I think I get your point but maybe you should contact Froggy for a lesson in written English.

Of course, you would recognise Goodes is from an aboriginal background but would I treat or think of him different as a person or a footballer than the player along side him with the big nose and named Papadoulous (ie: Greek background), absolutely not. Why would I? maybe, the posters (people) who keep seeing his aboriginality are the racists.

None - remember, it was a rugby league match and not an AFL one ;-).

Bloody good result - been waiting for someone to knock the Broncs off their perch a bit. Almost a total reversal of their last game against manly

Yeah, but Manly. Everyone outside of the northern beaches still hate Manly.

Yeah I hate Manly too, but they won't make the eight this year and I hate the Broncos almost as much so I'm happy to see them spoil the Broncs party a bit

Yeah I'm in that camp - hate Manly, but really want teams to start upsetting the Broncos. Means we might still be in with a shot for the Minor Premiership.

That said, Roosters have looked solid but not exactly unstoppable for most of the season, so if we don't go into the finals having won at least two of our last three games against Manly, Souths and Broncos games we are in trouble - and they are all gonna be tough.

Mate, they are still an outside chance and if the players are up for Toovey, they could do the bloody impossible win their last 5 and sneak into the 8.

Shit - just looked at the table and it is a lot closer than I thought... Still, they'll need to beat both Souths and the Roosters on their run home. They lose one more game and they're pretty well gone you'd have to say

They're virtually just on the cusp, and to be honest tonight's game has me a bit nervous about our upcoming match against them... A few weeks away yet, but gonna be a huge game. Would hate to see Manly anywhere near the final again, so I hope we smash em.

Dude, what is your point than. Is it that Dylan Napier and Ben Jones can not be aboriginal because they have red hair and freckles.

My point is, outside of first noticing physical differences in their make up, any differences disappear as they are both footballers (albeit, pussy AFL ones). So possibly unlike you I don't dwell on race but look on them as footballers.

What? No, do you honestly not see the point?

What is your bloody point?

Just to make it clear, I'm not the poster who mentioned Goodes was from a Scottish background as well. I don't know if he is or isn't.

Personally, I just don't see the colour of anyone's skin, or their religion, creed, marriage status, sexual preference. I just see the person.

Now if I'm a racist for that so bloody be it.

If you got bashed by a bunch of white guys would your attitude be soured to all white guys?

Seems odd to me (maybe sad might express it better) that one group of people from a particular background defines that entire group for you. I got bashed by a group of skinheads/bogans in Christchurch (likely because I'm slightly brown and was in the wrong place), didn't wind up in a coma, but they messed my face up pretty bad and broke my leg. I don't have a feeling of hatred every time I see white guys with shaved heads and bogan clothes - TBF would make some Xmas/birthdays/family gatherings bloody stressful if I did. They were just one particular group of white guys and not the standard of all white guys.

I have never been beaten to near death by a group of white men before so I cannot honestly tell you how I would feel I imagine it would be tough for me to deal with same as the experience with the Aboriginals has been.

I realise all Aboriginals are not like this but I can't stop how Seeing one makes me feel it isnt like I revel in feeling it It makes me sick to the stomach actually.

I hate racism "Real Racism" I honestly do not think Booing at a public spectacle counts though and thats just me.

Call him an APE and that is racism booing him cause you do not like him not racist.

Either way I feel a mountain has been made out of a mole hill and I can't help but wonder what the government is pushing through while we are all distracted.:crazy::crazy:

Of course you don't, it's never been an issue to you because its never effected you. Be honest, have any of the things you brought up in your post ever been an issue in your life?

I love seeing how self righteous the goodes supporters are. Must be a slow news week.

They can't handle anyones opinion.

My opinion is that when he first addressed the young girl as "the face of racism" was poor.

Also kicking her out of the stadium, jesus, she's 13, Adam, very wrong what she said, but ignore it. Thats my opinion, I am entitled to it Roostah, so deal.

What is your bloody point? 5 times, I've asked

No one can change history so in this bloke's mind the booing is racial or the result of what has happened over the last 200 years plus.

Does it make it racial, to him - yes. To the majority of the crowd do the booing, I doubt - more bullying tactics because they can get a rise out of the dude.

Sorry buddy, you have the wrong bloke - I don't see people's skin colour. I either like or dislike someone by how they are as a person.

If you want someone to apologise for the treatment of aborigines over the 200 years, I'm not that person as it would be better coming from the PM.

Can all the racial/religious/creed hatred issues in this world or Australia disappear overnight, not likey and given human nature more than likely never.

But Australia is one of the better countries around this pretty hate filled world for tolerance and harmony.
