Correct - Gallen gets booed in Queensland, but not every time he touches the ball in every single game he plays there

Gallen is the leader of the opposing State and has made it known that he has no love for Queenslanders, their state, their team or the people that live there. As captain of NSW Origin, that's how it should be. He should get booed, that's the theatre of it. He calls them wankers, they boo and call him a wanker back. However the Goodes thing started when he called out that girl for calling him an ape (racially charged moment) and then got worse when he celebrated an Aboriginal war dance (racially charged moment)

Goodes has been booed every time he has touched the ball for 12 months
That's not a case of booing someone who you think is playing dirty (esp when you can name 100 other more dirty players)

You look at pretty much everything goodes said about the situation and his acceptance speech for AOTY and he was very reasonable and not at all how his critics describe it. I think he's a bit of a dill but he doesn't deserve all this based on his words or actions. It seems to have struck a chord with the bigots out there like Bolt, Devine and Jones which is why this has been simmering for the last few years. Yeah not everyone who boos him is a racist but there are plenty who are.
