Judiciary News - You Will Love This

Apparently it took all of 4 mins to find Frizz guilty.

It's just unworkable. Remember your defensive drills as a kid? Run backwards into the line and don't take your eye of the ball...but be careful you don't touch the ref who is keeping the defence back.

Scrums....12 players packing and 2 halves and a referee smack bang in the middle.

Penalties...refs always keen to get in amongst it and give the mark.

Refs now need to be instructed to give the players space and/or get out of the way where possible. It's a 2 way street.

And to think the genius who brought this rule in is the same person we're sending our petition to.

I haven't read the actual rule, but there must be no room for discretion. Just pure black and white. You touched the ref, you're done.

This is how they explained it.
Which in my opinion contradicts the footage.
How can they say it was any more than incidental.

Judiciary Counsel Peter McGrath used two angles to argue that Frizell's conduct was contrary to the spirit of the game, and deemed the contact 'avoidable' and 'unnecessary' rather than 'accidental' or 'incidental'.

Rediculous decision... But what I'm wondering is who will go in to the starting lineup and who to bench?

I'm flabbergasted.
The NRL has really lost the plot since Greenburg took over. Grant ,Greenburg & Archer are today's version of the 3 stooges.
When players like Sterlo,Johns,Freddy,Lockyer etc etc say he should not be charged & the muppets on the judiciary disagree it goes to show how far out of touch they are.

I would say it lost the plot as far back as when Gallop was made to move on.

Let's look at the facts:
  • David Klemmer got off for touching a ref in another game.
  • Josh Reynolds tripped a player for the fourth time and effectively got off, could have broken a leg, saved a try in a 3 point victory
  • Tony Williams threw the ball forward to himself to score a try a few rounds back.
  • Tyson Frizell got a week's suspension to prove a point to the players.

Well a point has been proven. That the system is corrupt. That a cheating club will continue to find ways to win at all costs. I will tell you one thing boys and girls. I hate our coach, I have zero respect for our current CEO and board but I have found some passion for the NRL and that is to watch every Bulldogs game and cheer for the opposition with intensity. I will delight in every blow up James Graham has. They are pretenders so I am assured of satisfaction.

Screw Luke Patten. Screw Todd Greenburg. Screw Des Hasler.
A kids lemonade stand is more professionally run than the NRL.

Completely over the top language there...what a joke...

Conduct contrary to the spirit of the game...wtf? A game that's been played for 108 years, a rule that's been in for 1 WEEK.

Just doing my head in.

The NRL is a disgrace.
To humanise the game they have allowed the refs to call the players by their first name, tap the half back on the back & sometimes even the bum to feed the scrum, call out to players to stop infringing, the old don't go early call, get out of there call, get your hands of the ball call, stop that or I will penalise etc.
Now the refs are "god like' creatures that cannot be approached by certain players and when an accidental touch by a player occurs the player then gets rubbed out.
Well next week I want to see the refs calling "No 6 White" instead of Garreth, no warnings to some and not to others re possible infringements, and lets get back to the true them and us regime because it is all very arbitrary as it stands now.
