So you are assuming hes guilty of the charges before a courts findings? Can you even say that you are sure it was Amone? Can you be sure that if it was him that his actions couldnt be justified?. You want to punish someone that you have no actual proof that he has erred. If he is found not guilty im sure the court will be privy to why the matter turned violent and the reasons behind it. Until then we dont know and he shouldnt be punished unless there is a finding of guilt.

Seems he’s learned to mark-up on his opponent. Unfortunately with no real game plan behind either the attack or the defence. Unsurprising really.

As much as I hate to say it, the dogs have strength in the lower grades. I was at the earlier trials this year and came away impressed. A classic example of a club that has a successful benefactor in Laundy Hotels willing to splash their cash and an apparently well run Leagues club. Little else going for it as evidenced by the general district and almost derelict Canterbury road. You'll never here player comments of "I signed because it's a lovely place to live". Now before you bite my head off, I say that as I lived there for 12 years of my life.

I do agree with what you say, my question is if you compare the 2 KOE cup sides from yesterday, Dragons had it all over them with players having NRL experience and not just a couple of games. There is no way in the world that team should have been pumped like that by the Dogs.

Moving forward we need a consistent and organising five eight. We have the makings of future sucess through with an internal rebuild, coach potential with a bit of $ for some gaps.
Amone has the makings based on previous junior games (last week was excellent by reports).
Court withstanding Talatou needs to step up and prove his worth otherwise use some of our $ for a 5/8.
Not all players can make the leap and not all players are immediatly sucessful.
Bearing in mind we have him locked in a contract - give him as much time as possible this year and let his performance dictate our recruitment.

With the Dylan Brown suspension of 7 weeks. Will Amone be getting some sort of suspension if he is not jailed or found not guilty? Is Dylan Brown serving the time because he actually pleaded guilty?
