So why bring it up?

And again with your personal opinion.

It's a forum, nearly everything is an opinion and roughey confirms my viewpoint.

Bring up that it's a second-rate comp.? Because it explains that the Kiwis are producing more quality players.

And just because they operate a little differently than the French doesn't mean they're as bad or worse than them.

You have not made a point in this thread.

Lies, just none that you agree with.

I asked you about other sports and if they should have dumped certain teams and you ignored it.

I explained that things weren't as bad as what they were in France and if they were than yes they should have.

But you ignored it.

I showed you that France fills every criteria they have to and they fill every one of them many times over. Yet it's still not good enough.

Because that's my point, the criteria is too lenient.

Outside of winning games against the big 3 regularly, where do France fall down because as I said, 1 team wins and 1 team loses, it shouldn't matter if they lose 200 games in a row, if they fullfill every criteria, they deserve Test status.

Unstable history, lack of quality players etc.

As I've said, they're on there way though and stripping them of test status just wouldn't be worth it. I would still strip other sides, but France can slide...although they shouldn't have it in the first place and the RLIF should approach things differently.

And I think that's that. You can have one more point but I've taken this topic enough off-topic.

They got to keep it up, at the moment, they aren't fit to compete and they've proven this. Where are they? Why aren't they in the Four Nations? Weren't good enough?

Nope, weren't good enough - Wales were better, highlighting the fact that there are at least two sides only a step away from being competitive with England, NZ and Australia.

That's a shame, maybe if they were an International side

France aren't an international side now?

had more players to choose from they'd actually be able to grow faster.

If they had more players to choose from they'd grow faster. If they grew faster they'd have more players to choose from. Sounds like a neat catch-22 to me, when in reality France are an expanding nation, as evidenced mainly by calls for a second French SL team and under-age internationals (successful, not just in results at times but in spotting talent and getting them into SL sides) with England and I'm fairly sure Aus.

?

WTF

Beating every nation in a calendar year 2 years in a row, starting the RLWC, trying to get the game played in Indo china, Italy, Yugoslavia, Algeria, Morocco, Germany and many other nations and they still don't deserve Test status?

Any chance the two mods who have utterly hijacked the topic can split their discussion into a seperate thread?

so the touring party is down to 22?

wheres this amazing depth NZ are supposed to have now??
15 players who would've likely made the side are ruled out and New Zealand will still field a competetive team.

16 if you count the Poms stealing Rangi Chase. ;-)

Haven't you heard, since Chase was selected for England he's gone from someone who had a fair/avg chance of selection to a shit, arrogant, heartless, talentless, reserve grader. :sarcasm:

I have a hard time believing that 15 players who would have made the side are out

Even if you mean 24 man squad, that seems unlikely.

I'd say at least 10 are out who would have made the squad.

Strange that Matulino didn't make the line up.
