Its a quote! read it closely!

“I see the development of Matty Ryan and Mitchell Allgood and Kenny Sio and guys like that. Matthew Keating, Timmy Mannah … for me, we have an opportunity to really build this footy club. That’s what’s keeping me focused.

He loves his lads. Matty, Kenny, Timmy, Benny, Chrissy... I wonder if they call him Stevie.

based on WHAT? i know you arent talking about our 1 from 9 win record or our -143 for and against what exactly are these good looking things you are talking about

Yeah it's not the results, it's more the vibe of the whole thing. I cant exactly describe it. Are you feeling it bra?

i'd just like to see tangible evidence of the plan working.

it's all well and good to have a plan but when you evaluate and look for certain milestones that plan will have evidence of leading to future success. if the plan is a dud there is no point keeping it.

i would very much hope that similar to most other years where we started slow, we show that the side is on the up by winning a majority share of our last 12 games (like in 1997, 2000, 2006, 2007, 2009).

i don't think a decision on sk should be made before the end of season.

The frustrating thing is that if we end the season strongly, questions need to be asked as to why we started the season so poorly. What are we doing in pre season training? Last year we finished "strongly" according to some yet look at us this year. Even if we do improve in the back half of this year I wouldn't be confident going into next year just because of what happened this year. Unless we somehow go on a massive winning streak and make the semis I don't think he should keep his job. If we finish 14th just because of a few wins at the latter stage of the season it's too little too late.

apart from maroubra (who needs to share whatever happy pills he is on with the team) does anybody feel confident about when our next win is coming?
no matter how good or bad our opposition is travelling we cant beat anyone so long as the eels keep pulling out the pillows and doonas for nap time in the middle of the game

He pointed out two lapses that led to two tries. If he blamed him for the loss do you think he would still be in first grade?

He likely singled Fui's mistakes out to illustrate a point, and chose him because he knew it wouldn't upset the player.

Do you really think he only communicates with his players through the media? No wonder you think he's a f**king idiot.

It`s not a good look. In recent weeks he singled out Mitch Allgood as well. Wouldn`t do wonders for a rookie`s confidence, I`m sure.

How nice was it to see Jarryd running the ball and looking dangerous last night?

Take note Kearney ... Thought we went and bought two play makers so we could see more of it?

Hayne is our leading linebreaker this year. Plus gets massive metres every week.

What's your point?

He's making more breaks than Ryan Morgan et al?

That's great, but it's obvious his running game is hampered by being our only "creator". Well, I should say it's obvious to anyone who isn't so stoic in their devotion to SK.

Peter Sterling:

I thought he was the Blues' best on the back of going looking for the football and then displaying his potent running game. He is a much better performer when he plays to his strength and isn't spending time at first receiver.

He isn't playing first receiver this year; he is playing wide on the right (as well as kick returns and hit ups just like most of his touches last night).

Last year (and the year before) Hayne played plenty of first receiver, especially in the 6 jersey. I'd say that's the comparison Sterlo is making.

he seems pretty good at pointing the finger at everyone but himself

Lol last year people used to complain he had no passion because he didn't show his frustration in press conferences.

This year he shows his frustration and is accused of affecting the confidence of rookies and passing the buck.
