Sorry dudes, no place for sentiment. He's been poor for us for three years in a position that's make or break.
God I feel for Benji, watching him on NRL360 you can tell he is a shattered bloke - not wanted by a club I feel he has grown close to.
Such a great advocate and role model our club.
If it is true about Keary signing... I wish Benji all the best in his future, hopefully as an ambassador for our club.

Ditto. Imagine finishing your NRL career under coaches like Price and McGregor. Tough situation for anyone. My deepest sympathies to BenjiGod I feel for Benji, watching him on NRL360 you can tell he is a shattered bloke
He should be able to get a gig for say 150-200k, most likely as a backup half, but yeah maybe off the bench.. but if I was him a stint overseas might be better, rake in the money.. but perhaps family considerations and potentially a media career are preventing him from taking that option.I actually like Benji and think he's the only player we have has any kind of genuine X factor. Left of centre thinking - if they can agree to terms on money, would he have value as a super - sub?
Agreed, he is our only x-factor which is tragic as a squad.. Duges/Aitken/Lafai/Flo/Rein/KFFL are all good footy players, but none of them are really that scary to defend against, the duges may get a lot of wraps but his actual tries and try assists shows that hes hard to tackle but hes not bringing x-factor or uncertainty to the team.Poor for us?
Our attack looks much more crisp when he's on the field
I've no issue with letting him go if it's what best, but I think saying he's been poor is way harsh.

Im happy to go a different way for 2017 if we can build the roster, but the criticism is way off, and I think its taken its toll on him this year, injury, lack of contract and social media beatdowns.
When Mann is fully over his knee injury and gets his head right, he should be given a go at 7.
He has some speed and could organise the attack.
We are not a club that can afford to take a punt on a half. There's not enough star power in the side to cover if things don't work out
2010.i challenge anyone to tell me a time in recent history when a team won a premiership with an okay halfback as opposed to an awesome half back.
Lets see people tore strips off Hutchison when he played first grade saying he was shit and should never be seen in the top side again.
Mann played and had a shocker at fullback now people want him at 7 and if he has another shocker he will cop the same treatment hutchison has.
Who else would you pick other than McCrone who at the very least has played 7.

At the end of the day the half back is the most important player on the field.
