Thank f**k Tait bowled Warner off a no ball.

The result could have been different otherwise.

That was the final leg of my multi - 300 bucks - thank you Mr Warner!

how is it that warner cant crack it for a spot in the shield team?!

sure this is only 20/20 but he has also shown some amazing things in the one dayers, seems odd he isnt in the shield team. Especially when we keep selecting that no talent ass clown Greg Mail.

I agree, he brought Tait back far to late and didn't bring the field up early enough.
I also think he should have bowled Cullen out (Probably a bit earlier) and Tanveer should have bowled the 18th over, at that point they needed wickets, no use keeping someone for the 20th over if it wont reach that point

Get that Warner in the Aussie T20 side. Geez we could get some big hitters in that side if we tried.

Agree Manou captaincy was poor.

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia
Clint McKay and Matthew Wade have been omitted from the 12
\\\\:D/:alcho:
:D :D

McDonald included in the squad as well as Hastings and Rogers
Blizz, Hodgey, White, Huss, Quiney, Crossy, Macca, Hastings, Harwood, Nannes, Wright
Finch, Rogers
Looks a bit stronger than the side from Sunday, may even see Rogers come in if Macca doesnt come up, Finchy was very disappointing

Cos he's not scoring runs in two day cricket for Easts.... agree with you comments on Mail though....well, the no talent bit anyways!

The XI for today's game should be:
Blizzard, Hodge, Quiney, Hussey, White, McDonald, Crosthwaite, Hastings, Wright, Harwood, Nannes (Rogers 12th man)

After this game White and Hussey will be on Aus duty so Rogers should come in for the last game

Crossy should be batting ahead of McDonald, he is a much better big hitter, we need him in slightly earlier than we usually see him, on Sunday he was the only one who could find the boundary in the 2nd half of the innings, also I like White higher up where he can build before slogging, hits em better when he has his eye in, Quiney can slog from ball 1 better

Woeful performance by WA tonite. Most inept batting I've seen in a 20/20 game......Couldn't stop laughing when Mark Waugh was giving it to them in the commentary box.

Pommersbach got dropped after last game and is currently playing 2nd XI cricket.

Great stuff from the Vics tonight, HUGE boost to their NRR. Now guaranteed to finish 2nd at worst (if NSW minus Warner beat TAS and then beat VIC with Warner).

If TAS beat NSW (minus Warner) then Vics are 1 game + massive NRR on top of the table.

Unless if it comes down to head-to-head if teams are level on points, which would make NSW vs VIC a shoot out for top spot and guaranteed Champions League, regardless of their result vs TAS.

Best result is NSW lose to Tas and WA win their last game, then it doesnt matter if we lose to NSW (Unless we drop huge NRR) as if it comes down to head to head its a 3 way battle, 1 win for each side so then goes to NRR

Katich wont play 20/20s

we've got a heap of young batsmen and we tend to play our young blokes in the 20/20 games

Of course he'll play. You seriously think Forrest or Rohrer will play ahead of Katich?
