I'd take Kat, been in great form against much better bowling. He'll kill it at that level.

Clarkey is not in the Aussie 20/20 squad

you think NSW would pick him before Kat, although he may be added to the squad after his back is rested

he was the Aussie skipper last year

Clarkey is just being rested, he is in the ODI squad

QLD are moving into contention for the top 3 as the redbacks collapse

If Tassie beat NSW on Monday it will set up a cracking last round with all bar SA a chance to finish top 3.

If NSW beat Tassie on Monday, VIC vs NSW for top spot is the last game and the 2nd last game is WA v QLD a play-off for a spot in the Prelim Final.

Tassie went sick early on in this game and were on target for 220+ but lost a lot of quick wickets and are 6/165 with 3.1 overs left

It's a slow wicket and tassie have a couple of handy spinners/medium pacers. Tassie should get home especially with no Warner.

Thought Tassie were going to cruise to a mammoth total, but they threw away plenty of wickets for seemingly no reason.

Still, it's a fair total. We might struggle without Warner and Hughes at the top of the order, but we'll see how Katich adapts. He might deliver, who knows.

Warner would have been unstoppable with the short boundaries square of the wicket. But NSW have got a couple of reasonable sloggers in their lineup. Moises and the two Smith boys can hit it a long way, as can Thornley. It'll be an interesting game if NSW can get off to a decent start...

Can't believe we sent them in :crazy:terrible decision. Wicket is spinning bigtime and they have two of the better spinners going around. Talk about playing into their hands :?

Katich isn't a great captain...we're really missing Warner and Hughes. Oh well

Interesting ladder with 1 round of games to go...

1. VIC 6pts +1.399 (NRR)
2. TAS 4pts +0.070
3. QLD 4pts -0.002
4. NSW 4pts -0.221
5. WA 4pts -1.316
6. SA 2pts -0.013

WA vs QLD
TAS vs SA
NSW vs VIC

are the remaining matches

Unless the Vics get hammered by NSW they are a monty to finish top and guaranteed home final and champions league spot.

Injury. Back maybe? They mentioned it in the pre-show, but I can't remember the specifics. Didn't sound like it would keep him out of the game for long.

Although if QLD finish equal top with us and NSW then its possible we finish 3rd, Tassie in there makes it even more confusing

For NSW to win and go ahead of VIC on NRR the scores with NSW would have to be at least...

NSW 170 (20overs)
VIC 100 (20overs)

and then for TAS and QLD to get better NRR than VIC they need to win by a similar amount

One day tournaments normally decide on head to head before NRR, this may be the same, havent seen a definate rule on it and last year WA were ahead on NRR and head to head

No, the TV game is on now... WA vs QLD

SA def TAS by 50-odd runs

Christian made 54 and took 4fa

QLD are currently 2/145 in the 18th

Ladder after TAS/SA game is...
SA upto 2nd and Tassie to 5th both on 2 wins

winner of WA v QLD goes to 3 wins and guaranteed top 3 finish

if vic beat nsw then vic 1st, winner of WA/QLD 2nd and a 4-way tie for 3rd which will come down to NRR which SA currently have the best after their big win today
