Firstly - Are you serious ? really? perhaps its best you stay where you are. I dare say a high percentage of people with your level of ignorance become a statistical fatality when traveling. But I'm guessing your joking right ?

In many countries in the world being disrespectful can and does get people killed. As you can imagine social courtesy and respect are displayed in ample quantities. I've found in those countries there is generally speaking very little violence, however when it does occur someone generally dies.

Have a read back through this thread, you will notice that as soon as I wrote an opinion there were those people who disagree willing to aggressively attack in a personal way.This very action pretty much sums up and answers the question of why there is an increasing violent under tone in Australian society. My point has been made with your assistance- I thank you. There is an ever increasing lack of humility and respect in Australian society -long gone are the days of my grandparents. I remember them well and I remember the respect shown towards others. A huge contrast on so many levels to what you find today.
