Have you seen the length of some of my posts? Would take an awful long time to write if I was pausing every few words to stuff my gob.
not to mention back-spacing all the time because your fat fingers couldn't hit the right keys.

would take forever.

Tolar spent time in PL when Cross was available and we almost had a full squad of props.

Exactly. So Sarg was one rung further down the pecking order. Fact is, I rate Sarg. I expected him to be in our top 17 this year and I'm sure he would have made a valuable contribution. But was he really in competition with Wicks, or are we comparing bananas and giant watermelons (or albinos and flying pigs)? The guy who is really playing Sarg's role this year is Faaso. An interchange player who can come on and lay on some big hits. They have some similarities in the way they nail their big shots actually, really good timing smashing blokes right up under the rib cage. Faas. offers more in attack than Sarg imho.

Smith obviously wants an X-factor benchie. So far all we've got with Wicks is fat-factor but whether he comes good or not is beside the point. Take Wicks out of the equation and do we really lose that much by not having Sarg? We do have other guys who can play a similar role.

Sarg has had interrupted off-seasons and missed months of football the past two years, and he's 29 years old. There's a lot in common there with others who have been cut in line with the Smith blueprint. Right or wrong it isn't that hard to work out the basis behind the coach's thinking.

Big Gut seems to have the time and patience to wrap up Smithys car in (whatever it was) last year so I wouldn't put him/you past it :p

Somehow I doubt he did it himself. More in line with his football this year. Let others do the hard work, then mugged a cameo for the cameras.

I tend to agree with Sargent. Why he was let go while we kept on a fat waste of space like Wicks is beyond me.

Money, pure and simply money.

Wicks is being overpaid and we can't afford to cut his contract short and risk paying it out, and Sargent was bargain basement rates thanks to his sacking from the Cowboys.

Unless of course someone baits Wicks into misbehaving off the field and gives the Knights a reason to get rid of him ... ;-)

Somehow I think Wicks might not get 3 chances

Stuff a big Mac in some broad's cleavage. Sexual harrassment case against Wicksy in a heartbeat.

Well... Here I am... I am going to get pooned for saying this, but for some reason I have a soft spot for fat dudes with unlimited potential playing prop...

Wicks has a fire within him, I can sometimes see it, I say sometimes because he rarely uses it but I can see him not being as good as my hero Perry but being a world better the Fui Fui Moi Moi... I duno how to get him in the gym, but we have to... Smith should try his upmost best to because his onfield performances are not his biggest problem...

His gut is massive, but he does have a massive arc in his back and Webcke was almost as big as the equator around the tummy, however if you look at his upper body include his boobs and skinny and flabby arms there lies the problem. Look at Perry now his upper body is huge... He was always kinda big but his arms are massive now... If we can get Wicks to enjoy training at the gym his onfield performances would improve dramtically, must more power in his runs and I think if he starts to smash some people his confidence will soar through the roof therefore wanting more runs and killing the other team...

What do you guys think?

Wicks will be good when he comes back, I think he needs a reason to do really well, a inner drive, a fire which Webcke possessed,.,...

So far this week we have had Knights fans compare:-

Taufua to BK

McManus to Israel Folau

Sau to Mal Meninga

and last but not least...

Wicks to Webcke

I've got nothing more to say. ;-)

If only that were true

 When certain ' fans ', Roopy, compare Taufua to BK ( which I believe you may have ), I could probably just about say anything in here and it would appear sane.

Some people around here make St Brett seem genius like.

Sorry to rain on your blue and red parade Roopy.

Mark Tuafua reminds me of Ben Kennedy.
He reminds me of Ben Kennedy because both came over from Union and have a style of play where they look for opportunities to get involved and don't just do their 'job' or set tasks.
He is also a big, fast, mobile and fit lock forward.
The guy has played less League than anyone in our squad including NYC players - so he has unlimited potential to improve - and he is improving every game.
I know you have terrible trouble seeing anything that might be positive - but Mark Tuafua could end up being anything - and if he reaches his potential he will be the closest thing to BK we have seen.

Your negative view of the world might seem 'sane and rational' to you, but to me you come across as a narcissistic tosser, and i suspect most people see you that way.

When will you come to realise what you view negative, is actually another versions unbiased way of viewing reality.

A narcissistic tosser huh? I've been called worse. Life isn't a popularity contest let alone on this forum. Much prefer being upfront and have the respect that comes from doing so than be well liked.

I doubt I'll lose sleep not being liked by you Roopy. Fact of the matter is, you don't know me at all.

You talk down to me constantly like I am some terrible, negative fan because I dare call a spade a spade.

I don't know what the personal issue is with me Roopy, but you should let it go mate. Either that or get to know me properly instead of some image forming in your mind that is very much a preconceived misconception.

When I comment on what you say, I do so based on the words on the page in front of me. Pretty up the Taufau comment all you like with side issues about the union link , but your quote was " BK like potential ". To me that suggests so much more.

When you comment on me I'm certain you do so with so many underlying issues.

You really should use that PM button dude. Because airing any personal laundry on here is lame. And you sure as sh*t get personal with me way before I do with you.

Either that, or the IGNORE button is also an option too man?

You also might want to consider that its " narcissistic tossers " like me who is apart of a family who have invested literally thousands and thousands of sponsorship dollars into your beloved Newcastle Knights just to help put them on the bloody paddock and give you the opportunity to take their happy snaps and marvel at their body composition changes. For years...Through thick and thin. The premierships and the wooden spoons.

I guess its those kinda fans, that assist in helping the club stay afloat for the mere love of the team, isn't the kind of fans the Knights should have supporting them have huh?

Fortunately, for the Knights, guys like you putting sh*t on me, doesn't affect me enough to go away.

Would Karmawave qualify as a troll?

Kidding Kidding...

I dont think Wicks will be anything as near as good as Webcke overall... However just using Webcke as an example of a really good prop thats all.. I think Perry could possibly become near as good as Webcke though...

As the d*ckhead comes out of the woodwork to lend their significant input once again...

So much sh*t talking but I don't see anyone reaching for their ignore button.
