Ben Rogers is positively the worst footbaler i have ever seen. Brain Explosions galore.

We played sh*thouse bar 10 minutes, Saints played well nearly the entire match. We are contenders.

I thought our halves were poetry in motion for 78 minutes ;-)

Brain explosion on the chip kick sure, but the halves performance in general got us that win tonight. Sau's great effort started it, and the halves class finished it.

The Mad Dog try especially - De Gois, Mullen, Rogers, Rogers busts the line, beats a tackle, draws the fullback, Mad Dog over untouched - OH YEAH, thats what we like to see! ;-)

He might not have been man of the match, but he had a bloody solid game and his class showed in the Mad Dog try.

I can live with the occasional brain explosion if his class can set up tries and win us games like that.

Sensational win. Did our best to throw it away again with a serious of dumb plays in the last 10. All the forwards were fantastic in defence if you discount the stupid penalties. Back three were sensational. Lulia got caught out of position after about 1 minute for Sailors try, but was otherwise fantastic easily his best game in first grade.

You blokes who are slanging Sh^t on Rogers are kidding. For 78 minutes he was very good. He set up the try for Doogs and his general play was good.

What about the brain explosions by Patto that copst us a try. What about Wicks penalty, what about Lulia missed catch which led to a try. I don't see anybody anybody going off at them for these incidents

You blokes need to start being objective and apply the same thoughts with all players and not just a selected few

Exactly, too many short memories around here!

His class put us 10 clear of the Dragons to begin with!

I like how he backs himself too, just has to pick his spots better!

Everyone wants to heap sh*t on Rogers because they have a hard on for Dureau, and hate to see my comments on him come true.

Junior Sau was great too.

Not just his solo try.

I will not forget the massive run Sau made and quick play the ball that opened up the space for Rogers to set Mad Dog up for his try.

Rogers and Sau right up there for MOM.

absolutely STOKED with that win. it wasn't pretty at times, but it was enough to beat the benchmark of the competition at home. the strong breeze really added an interesting dynamic to the match.

i agree with RABK that we didn't play very well, yet we still managed to win. i also agree with the contenders tag. if we keep improving we will be very very hard to beat. rogers was good tonight i thought... brain snap aside he showed absolute class in a lot of his play tonight and defended well for a change. mullen was hot and cold but his class showed many times during the match. wicks and fa'aoso... wow... what games from those two. in fact to be honest i would attribute the win to the go-forward they granted us mid way through the second half. they were absolutely unstoppable and laid the perfect platform for our second half tries.

all and all, VERY happy with the win.

I just wished Rogers would stop going for the dumb play at the wrong time. It could well of cost us the game if Dan Hunt could count to 6.
