Waow it will be interesting to see what BSmith will do with Mullen/Dureau/Bailey this week... Simpson back is good, Doogs should go retire/die and Ciralod wasnt too bad last week either. Would like to watch Aku, hopefully next week or the week after

geez that backrow looks classy with simpson slotting back into the team for ciraldo. very surprised that wicks has been named to start too, royal really deserves to be there instead imo.

7 man bench though. there's no way the team that is named there will take the field as is. lulia also unlucky to be punted for doogs. i'd hate to be craig bellamy trying to make a gameplan to combat our team - where do you start? there are so many combinations of different players and different positions they can play in on that sheet that you could do your head in trying to figure out what smith is going to come out with come next monday.

Lulia and Scotty should feel hard done by if they don't play, Jesse should feel hard done by for being named on the bench.

once again Smithy comes up with some weird selections.

Not confident on MacDougall and Vuna defending the same side of the field. I would be aiming a lot of attack down that side if I was Bellamy

Speculating, but it might be more strategic than anything. Royal has more offloads than any other Knights forward this year. Throw him on against a few players backing up from the test towards the end of each half and he may be able to create a few more second phase plays than usual.

hopefully geyer plays... he's been pretty useless for years.

spike is right about mad dog and vuna on the same wing though. we could bleed a lot of points down that side of the field.

bellamy trying to make a gameplan to combat our team - where do you start?

I reckon Smith will milk uncertainty over our halves pairing as often as he can. Completely different things to work on for a coach to combat Dureau's kicking game or Bailey's running/money-ball game. They'll have to do twice the preparation and one aspect will be irrelevent. Nice.

Cross and Royal were working wel together, shame Jess has been benched.
Cross started on the bench last game, and our defence still remained watertight until the 60th minute.

Granted a lot of that was due to Hilder

Jess did a lot of work in that time to help out Wicksy though.

I am sure there is a plan in place though.

Battering rams and yard makers for 15 minutes, then tighten it all up with no frills off the bench perhaps.

Man that Storm side is good. More than half of them are bloody Aus/NZ reps as well. Slater, Folau, Inglis, Cronk, Crocker, Hoffman, Johnson, Smith, Smith, Blair.

If Bailey has to be in the team, what's wrong with him slotting into Maddogs centre spot and playing Mullen/Dureau in the halves?

That would have to be near to the strongest back row, perhaps even pack, that we've put on a park in many a year!
