3 - Gidley

The one could nearly have gone to anyone, but Sau looked good.

3- Gidley (WOW what can you say?)
2- Mcmanus (His defence was outstanding and he is actually starting to break tackles)
1- Tolar

Nearly did the 3-2-1 Gids-Jimmy-Taia but thought I'd share them around a bit!

2 - Rover
1 - Mad Dog
1 - Faaoso
1 - Taia
1 - The Bagpipe Player

Nearly 1 point for Houston, but after last week and those penalties in the 1st half...sorry mate :p

Yeah I was going to put Houston in, but I'm sick of his errors.

McManus has been great for us lately, I always feel safe when they are kicking it to him.

Houston topped the tackle count (32 - next best Fa'aoso on 30), played out of position and scored 2 tries.

Alright, then Houston unlucky not to get a point! :p But I couldn't get those early penalties out of my mind.

Gidley gets all 6.

3 for his work at hooker
2 for his work at fullback
1 for his work at first receiver

Assuming I'm not allowed to do that

3. Gidley - dead set freak
2. Mcmanus - saves at least 2 trys a game...no different tonight
1. Taia - when is he gonna get some raps...trys his ass off every week more than I can say for some of our other forwards

Well, you'd just give all six to Gidley if you could. But despite what some said, I reckon he had some good help from the forwards who played fairly solidly.

3. Gidley -- played like Neo from The Matrix, with time itself warping and Kurt seeing the game in code. A stunning performance (and didn't blow up at the ref).

1. Houston -- a good solid effort in attack and defence. It also helped that he didn't try to rush things like he is proned to do.

1. White -- excellent return to first grade. Ran the ball hard and did some good stuff in defence.

1. Tolar -- I thought he performed pretty strongly. He's not the biggest prop going around, but still manages to hit the line and make metres. Also picked up a try for his efforts in support.

Honourable mention to Junior Sau, who surely must have cemented a spot. He's great in defence AND attack -- a rarity for a youngster.
