The NRL are creating a hole for themselves.
Soon they will not be able to explain themselves and with blatant Media coverage people will need to fall on their sword or be publicly pushed.

Canterbury with their recent success are getting better than their own boots.
And Mr Gould needs to be reprimanded by the NRL , because he could now be peddling his own agenda, irrespective of everyone

How's this for double standards. It looked like a bite so must have been a bite. And then we have all these commentators and players saying the same.

NRL poster boy Latrell is in a photo with white powder. Media - there is no indication at all that the powder is coke. Players, current and ex, for example Meninga, Latrell doesn't do drugs.

Spare me please. You can take the boy out of Bondi but not Bondi out of the boy.

Is there an avenue for the club to argue that the MRC didn't conduct Kyle's matter fairly. I bet if they tried that shit on the Roosters, Uncle Nick would take it further.
Exactly, we turn up with Ben Haran

Instead young Flanno should have been represented by Kings Counsel. That would have sent a very clear message, including the likelihood of an appeal if the result was unacceptable to the player and the club.

I really can’t help but think if Flanno Jnr was playing for another “preferred” club the result would have been very different. But that is just my opinion.
I really feel very, very sorry for Kyle.
I think he's a very honest & decent toiler, and does his best at all times.
but this is just a f****** travesty of justice.
how they could f...... suspend him for that long is beyond me!
what about Chrichton!!??
how does he get away with what he did?

I'm gutted too.
Has it been raised that Chrighton had hold of Flanno's throat whilst he was attacking his head
Kyle didn't move his head in a manner to bite him. He had someone's nose in his mouth and a mouth guard isn't your teeth. In a split second whilst he was trying to breath it would have been hard not to move your mouth.
Chrighton was advised not to attend because he would have been cross-examined and found guilty himself...no case to answer Kyle.
You watch for a crackdown of using the head to pindown players and slow the play, at Kyle's expense I'm affraid.

You make a copybook tackle around the legs and have to release immediately otherwise it's a 6 again call or sin bin if it was a break, but 5 blokes can grapple and peel off 1 by 1 while the defensive line gets organised and it's OK.

Prefer the watch the old games they replay during the offseason when it was actually rugby league played by rugby league players. The game is now played by athletes rather than footballers.
Dont forget the wrestling and training for it. Here to stay unfortunately

I'll take Kyle's word, Chrichton thought he was bitten and the NRL agreed.

I can't see Chrichton doing it again however, it will be interesting to see if he gets the same treatment when being tackled and the outcome from the NRL.

I hope it fires up the team without him.
He’s already done it in SOO against DCE a penalty was awarded to QLD

Don’t think Kyle stood a chance from the outset.
Charge placed by NRL. No on field complaint by Crichton at the time.
Panel made up of Greg McCallum former NRL referee & administrator and Henry Perenara former player & NRL referee, in fact 1st NRL referee to send off a player for biting.
Normally 2 former recently retired players on the panel, not 2 NRL referees.
Hearing 2 hours and panel deliberated for only 15 minutes.
Looks like a Kangaroo Court with a predetermined outcome.
