no internatuional band is worth anything over 50-60 buckaroos. i pay 38 to see world class punk bands. offspring and blink have overcharged big time.

I've played $135 to see an international act.
I dont mind offspring they have some catchy pop-ish stuff which is radio friendly.
goddamn, how much did I love Play when it came out!

i payed 40 bucks in 99 to see the offspring, guttermouth and eskimoe joe and that was a class concert it was one of there best i have seen. a few years back i paid i think 59 to see them play with 28 days and motorhead it was preety good not as good as the 99 gig but couldnt complain. this year i really wanted to go however loosing my job a few months back i didnt have the cash for the tickets so i have to miss out. i am glad i had a job back when blink concert was on so i will be going to that when it is on again.

I once paid something like $30 to see The Offspring at Selina's. Those were the days...

In January I paid $70+ to see The Strokes at the Horden, you know it's a rip-off but with the exchange rate, the band, manager, promoter & venue all wanting their cut, it's economics these days.

Cheers,
Ben S.

i saw the offspring in 99 and gutermouth blew them off the stage. they were at the peak of the americana days then and god it was terrible hearing everyone sing along to pretty fly.

the most i have paid was 70 to see qotsa and the distillers at the horden this year. qotsa were brilliant and well worth the 70 but i still wont be paying that much for a gig anymore.

The most I've paid is $72, for the Foo Fighters last year.

I usually wouldn't pay that much, but I was curious to see how they were live, and they didn't disappoint.

But in the main, no more than $50 usually.

When you consider that for about $100 you can do Livid or BDO and have a choice of about 30 bands to see, it make $65 for one international band a tad overpriced

My ticket to Prince last year was $170. At two and a quarter hours, he played every big hit, with some astounding virtuoso segues in between, the show was a stunner. The price was a bargain, I would have paid double.
