The Gotze rumours are back. We reportedly sent not one but two scouts to watch him play in the champions league game recently, and Wenger is ready and willing to break our transfer record to get him.

Verm and Kos have played together for 205 Premier League minutes this season. In that time: 0 goals conceded. All up in all competitions and pre season games, 495 minutes together and 1 goal conceded. The goal? Jenkinsons freak own goal from a mile away.

If they stay uninjured it could very well become the best CB pairing in the league.

Where are the Kos haters now? ;-)

One of the form players of the season so far. No doubt about it.

 still here, just waiting for the next f-up :p. I think alot of credit has to go to our midfield. It has takent he pressure off the backline. No stupid goal keeper mistakes are nice as well. Sczesny does scare me though when he rushes out of the box.

True, true.

But I still feel that after RvP, Kos has been our standout player over the past month. His ability to intercept a pass is fantastic.

Thats the good thing about Woj, even if he makes an error running out of the box at least he goes 100% and is decisive, it carries through his whole game, including crosses which is a great thing. Flappy and Almunia are the kings of being indecisive.

Scz is cocky and a bit arrogant. He's already spoken about the FACT that he is a future Arsenal captain. And I like that. Goalkeepers have to be decisive with every single movement and decision they make. Every keeper who makes it to the PL has the physical talent, it's the ones who get the negativity out of their head that succeed.

He is well on the way to succeeding...

In German newspapers Dortmund stars (and German internationals) Mario Gotze and Kevin Grosskreutz have said Arsenal is their favourite team. And the reason we had 2 scouts at Dortmunds most recent CL game was because Wenger wanted a pair of eyes focused on each of them.

Hopefully Wenger makes it happen in the window.

Nah i can't see Gotze. Apparently we offered quite a bit during the last window and it got turned down. I think he will be at Bayern within a year or two.

We are however looking at another young German called Marco Reus. He's a massive fan of Arsenal and has said he would want to join. He has a buy our clause of 15 mill or something i think so it won't become a bidding war to get him.

Wenger has talked to the manager of Borussia Mönchengladbach about him and he told Wenger that he's a good player but he wants to hold on to him. I can see us making a play for him in January. Looking at shit on youtube he looks a pretty exciting player.

But then again that's what youtube can do for a player.

This week we officially go two months with just one loss...who would have guessed on the 17th of September when we lost to Blackburn that we'd have a run like this. Hopefully the break hasn't killed our momentum and we keep it up against Norwich this weekend.

Realistically, I don't know why any young German players would leave the BUndesliga if it means they throw away a potential NT career?

Klose plays for Lazio. Ozil and Khedira play for Real. Surely the germans aren't that nationalistic these days...

They aren't. If Gotze is as good as everyone thinks he is then he will play for the national team wherever he plays.

Hazard has said he wants to play for Real so you will prob lose out there.

Klose has played 12 years of his 13 year career in Germany, as for Ozil and Khedira, they were already part of the squad before they moved abroad.

Gotze and Reus are in the squad. They've been in the team in this break. Grosskreutz has also made his debut.

Another good performance, especially from RVP again. Superb finish for his second.

Per played like a spastic, he looked like the defender version of Bendtner. Its extremely refreshing to have Vermalen back though.

Except for Per, everyone had an awesome game. More RVP brilliance, but dissapointing he only scored two today:D

Walcott really is in a rich vein of form. And can't wait till Wilshere is back, Ramsey-Wilshere could be a very very good combo.

Also, I don't care if Jenk and Sagna are out, put Djourou, Squillaci or a tree stump at RB. We are literally bullet proof when Verm and Kos are our CB pairing. You don't do anyone any favours when you weaken a strength to fill a hole somewhere else.

And I think it's really important we got the 3 points after the break, those damn two week vacations can be a momentum killer.

Now hopefully next week we seal our last 16 spot in the CL and continue our PL winning streak against Fulham.

Don't see why Hazard would go to Madrid....unless they are moving Di Maria on, which would be pointless.
Still, if he wants to go there, hopefully he will get his wish.
Bunniesman, what's your take on the Hazard situation?
