Should have won but hopefully a draw like that is just the thing to keep us from getting too cocky.

Big cup game against City coming up. No better time to face them than when they're down after their problems in Europe. Will be a good test to see how far off the pace we are.

We beat them and I can't see anyone stopping us from winning at least 1 trophy this season.

They beat us and we could lose all the confidence we've gained the last couple months.

Well City have performed poorly throughout the UCL this season and their league/domestic cup form hasn't been affected.

But until their last CL game they probably thought they'd coast through the group stage. The prospect of europa has only become real this week. So hopefully that affects them.

Having said that if I was offered a draw now I'd take it without hesitating.

And TT, enjoying seeing the reigning champions of your fantastic league get schooled by us? Gotze can't get away fast enough. The best player in Germany will look good in an Arsenal jersey around 2 months from now.

Didn't watch it as I was too busy watching the pill poppers defeat Commerzverein London but from what I heard Arsenlol hardly outplayed BvB.

Franck Ribéry won't be signing for Arsenlol either btw.

Yes lets not forget that Blackburn's only win of the season came against Arsenal, or that BvB lost the Bundesliga player of the season and their most important player, or that both teams started the year poorly, or that BvB aren't even at the top of the Bundesliga at the moment.
 Hypocritical tool.
Cue the inevitable Cesc/Nasri sook.

Nasri? I don't miss him. I think we won that deal by getting over 20 million for a player in his contracts last season and who is overrated. The way Gervinho has settled so quickly into the Premier League I think before long he'll be better than Nasri.

Nasri is warming the bench over there. He's had 1 or 2 good games in half a season. Meanwhile, we have players wearing our shirt who actually want to be there and partly thanks to Nasri we have a big warchest to spend if and when necessary.

Fabregas we do miss. We haven't replaced him properly and that's why we should go hard for Gotze in January.

Fabregas is world class. Nasri is not. Nasri will look back on his career one day and realise his best years were under Wenger, like Adebayor, like Gallas, like Toure, like Clichy.

Great, there musn't be much wrong with my post if all you can do is extend a pointless argument from the mention of one player.
Or am I missing something important? For example, a coherent response to the actual issue at hand?

Also funny how you say Arsenal should go hard for Gotze rather than the usual "it is a done deal" or "we will sign him"

Things are a bit more optimistic in that department lately.

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/222729/Mario-Goetze-s-hint-at-big-move-/

If he pushes for a move in January they'll give it to him. They'd obviously rather he go to us than Bayern.

And Goetze told pals he was massively impressed with the Gunners set-up when the two sides met in the Champions League clash in London on Wednesday night.

“He likes the way Arsenal play the game and for him there are only two clubs where he’d like to play once he moves from Dortmund - Arsenal or Barcelona.
He's quickly turning into a world class superstar. He belongs at a big club in a big league. So that's Barcelona, Madrid, City, United, Chelsea and us. Barca and City have enough midfielders. Madrid looks like going after Hazard. No young player who can pick his clubs would choose Chelsea at this point, they are on the decline and are a couple seasons away from contending.

United needs a creative midfielder. We need a creative midfielder. If we're aggressive enough we will get him. We can afford the 20-30m necessary.

The 'german jack wilshere' would be an awesome combo with the original Jack. A midfield pairing that could be the core of the team for the next decade and would turn us into contenders again.

If it happens (fingers crossed) Wilshere-Goetze will be the next Xavi-Iniesta.

Lol @ this genius, they came out yesterday and said he isn't being sold in january or next summer and Götze has already said he wants CL football which Arsenlol probably won't provide.

And I seem to have missed this bit. They certainly are. Yes Bayern has a game in hand but currently Dortmund is top. They are the reigning champs. They are currently leading the league. And we're better than them.

Arsenal would win every league outside of England and Spain. We're the 5th best team in the world.

 Poor Bunniesman won't believe it even after January 31st.
There is so much wrong with the latest Bunniesderp post.
"He belongs at a big club in a big league. "
And by your definition that is Barca, Madrid, City, United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Where do Milan, Inter, Bayern Munich, PSG, Lyon, etc stand in your view of the world?
Real haven't expressed interest in Hazard - Madrid are after Neymar.
Why the hell do you think Arsenal would beat United in a transfer scramble!?
Gotze/Wilshere the next Xavi/Iniesta  I have heard it all now!

Arsenal the fifth best team in the world!? OMG that is the best one you have ever come up with!
Alright then.
1. Barcelona
2. Real Madrid
That is clear. The next few I will rate are in no particular order due to subjective opinion.
Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Milan, Bayern Munich, Inter.
All better than Arsenal.
And by you going off this season alone, by your logic Spurs must be better than Arsenal too.
The derp is strong with this one.

I like the geniuss thinking.

Man Cheaty are undefeated in the EPL. We crushed Man Cheaty.

FCB > EPL meaning FCB > Arsenlol
I said it before, I'll say it again. I'd give anything to play your mob in the quarters. To put you in your place about where Bayern is compared to Arsenal.

Even more derp!
City lead the league whilst your team isn't even in the top four presently.
Bayern smashed City.
Are you so completely beyond the realm of logic that your own BvB logic conflicts with your Bayern logic?

PSG....Lyon....fmd. When has a French club ever signed a superstar in his prime? France is a feeder league for big teams. As for Milan, Inter and Munich. Noone goes to Italy if a big Spanish or English club is after them.

Chelsea is not better than us. We've beaten them very recently. They are aging. Their key players are over the hill. Terry is slowing and Luiz is a terrible partner for a CB like Terry. Drogba and Lampard, their most important players, are well into their 30s. And I'm willing to bet they're about to sack a manager two years in a row.

Combine Arsenal and Chelsea into one team and we'd have the best CB, the best midfielder, the best striker and the best keeper in the new supersquad.

I'd put money on my team if we played any club in the world besides the Manchesters and Spains big two.

And another indication we're bigger than anything Germany has to offer? Their bright shining new star, their future captain reportedly would rather go to Barcelona or Arsenal than to Munich. That would be the equivalent of Spains next big thing choosing us over Real or Barca.

Also, Gotze was reportedly impressed by our facilities and setup when he came to the Emirates. This is a player who knows what Munich has to offer.

Arsenal > Bundesliga. Arsenal > Seria a. Arsenal >>>>>>>>>>>>Ligue 1.

Edit: PSG in for Chamakh with a 10 million offer. Yep, MASSIVE CLUB. Paying 8 figures for our bench warmer. That'll go towards the Goetze war chest quite nicely

In my opinion Bayern and BVB are roughly equals. As for City, they're obviously struggling in the champions league. We're not.

 Does't change the fact that Milan and Bayern are also better than your club, at best Arsenal are seventh-eighth best in the world.
Your fail logic continues with another team  So Arsenal are better than Chelsea despite Chelsea being higher on the table simply because Arsenal beat them? You say City would beat Arsenal but you continue to ignore Bayern dominating them? FMD.
You think Arsenal would beat Spurs, Newcastle, the big Italian clubs and even bloody Levante on current form? Did you miss how your team just drew against Fulham? And in all your "Arsenal best form in the league other than City" you again ignore Spurs have won 9 in 10 with one draw. But apparently Arsenal are in better form  Not to mention Spurs beat you last time, therefore they are better than your club based off your crappy logic!
So because Gotze wouldn't want to defect to BvB's biggest title contenders you assume that means he thinks Arsenal are a better club?
My god, have you ever heard of Mesut Ozil!? You rave about Gotze as if he is Germany's best young talent, that's funny because Ozil starts ahead of him in the attacking midfield position!
You are the most delusional person I have ever had the displeasure to see.

So now you back-track, I thought beating Chelsea and BvB must mean you are better than them?
Funny when you consider City had to play Bayern, Napoli and Villarreal....
