What was your scoring system last season? We only had the basic in LU2 (try, goal, workhorse try, sin bin and send off) and didnt have anything special for your captain. i know you guys had it differently

Captain was double points and bench players also got full points.

Try, goal, try assist, line-break, sin-bin, send-of, work-horse try.

Those were the only criteria from memory.

Sorry mate shuld've clarified that goalkicking points aren't doubled.

He said around the date of the second round of trial matches, which are the 12th-14th of Feb. So still about a month off it seems.

I was minor premier in the rleague forums or this forums daily telegraph comp. Lost both my finals games and got knocked out, similar to the Dragons season. All my other teams in other leagues had similar results, i finished high usually.
Ide love to play im a fantasy tragic even thinking of expanding to the NFL fantasy next year.

just a heads up ill be away on the weekend of the 13th-14th of feb (miss the bloody all-stars game), so if the sites good to go when u predict johns it may have to start on that monday or later, im guessing we will give everyone a bit of time to put a rought draft of the team they won't together?

meant just working out 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice etc picks for each position for when it starts

You should be doing some of that now Rhino - Once registration is complete and your competition is full, your drafting process can start. To make the draft quicker, you should have an idea of the players that you would like to get, taking into consideration that your top choices will most likely be taken by other ceos.....

I like to rank players but then do the stats on which position have the biggest gap between the top player and the 15th best player or however many of that position will be picked, to work out the best players to pick at which stage in the the draft.

i used last years stats to find all the forwards whose averages added together equalled a wh try, and split them to fr, hookers and back row. Works been pretty light lately lol.

a good pack full of wh tries every week is what got me the LU2 title last year. My backline wasn't great (delaney and ash graham as my centres, both couldn't score in a brothel). Picking which team will excel this year and getting their goal kicker we do you good, i pretty much fluked it last year having soward not thinking he would do as well as he did last year and just tore it up for me. Picking versatile guys helps as well, back rowers as centres (mannering) or hookers as halves (farrah) can rack up wh tries outside of your pack
