At the end of the day if Penrith did the same you wouldn’t give a shit, we’re all biased towards our own club. All Ivan did was vainly bleat on about how great Nate was and why JL needed him.

This was close to most stupid thing that could possibly be said to retain a player, especially one for a humiliating $450k less than market.

I think it shows a coach who is completely out of touch with reality and believes his own hype.
