They should do this for Origin, all 3 games over one weekend, get it out the way to get on with the comp quickly
FMD, you are in the top 5 ‘LU Pot Plants’ for 2018 awards list, well done.
Since it’s in Brisbane, why not Super League heritage round paying homage to the shit the Broncos created in the mid-90’s
You ‘think’ there was 2 double headers this year??
So what will the crowds be like
Packed on the Friday Night when the Broncos play
Empty on Saturday and Sunday?
Or can the Broncos play on every day to boost the crowds?
To be fair... who the f**k would have even noticed the Reds super rugby draw for next season was announced...My god we follow an amatuer sport sometimes.
FMD, how hard would it have been to run a check on the reds schedule before coming out with your press release.

Depends how they schedule it. St's, Storrm, Souths, Warriors can all draw a crowd in Brisbane, Add in NQ and Titans and as long as they schedule sensibly we should get 30k most days. Throw in a discount for more than one day tickets for the cheap seats.
Except if phil speaks truth..it's broncos not the city of brisbane who killed crushers. ..according to lu most of brisbane hates broncos so why ignore those fans. I understand his concern..i mean theres only 100 plus games a season in Sydney for fans to latch on to. ..us people in seq should be grateful for the dregs we get.
What they should do, since they are going ahead with this idea, is add an extra round so that the magic weekend isn't anyone's home or away game. That would considerably boost eight teams season crowd average. There could be a fight between teams, to be named the home team that weekend.
Yes and no. It's normally out before NRL and AFL but this is the earliest it's been out from memory. It may be a much lower drawing sport, but Super Rugby always announces their draw ages in advance. It really shouldn't be a shock given we share all four of their stadiums.
Just amateur hour from the NRL.
Now why might that be?I find it interesting the most vocal group of people (both fanbase and management) has been Penrith fans.
