Yeah, we're over the cap

I simply asked for a link to the interview, I was just wondering if he just heard it from all the speculation in the papers.Bu...Bu...But your manly fan even said he saw it himself.
Should i record everything and play it back to you for future refrence?

Pretty sure I have read that Greenberg has said we don't have cap space for 2012 but we will in 2013.
Yes, he has to face the board on allegations he enticed players and staff to break contract.Hasler Stood down?
Maybe the dogs wanted a decent teacher out Belmore way because their fans are clearly quite stupid.
I never suggested they were over the cap. I said that they wouldn't have enough space in the cap to sign someone of the calibre of Foran. Don't forget that there were likely some upgrades on top of the signings. So listing a few nobodies leaving the club doesn't mean much.
along with some contracts being back ended for 2013.Maybe the dogs wanted a decent teacher out Belmore way because their fans are clearly quite stupid.

hahahaha nice one.
Hmmmm, coaxing players and coaching staff on contract to another club whilst in the head coaching position of Manly? And don't give me the "they have get out clauses". He still cannot coerce players to switch teams regardless of any clauses in their contract.
I've kept out of this argument for the most part but what the hell.....
The Manly Leagues Club board is a shambles of an operation and are reaping what they have incompetently sowed. When Hasler left, yep good luck to him. He'd paid his dues and served the club well so best of British to you.
But this has turned into an all in personal vendetta now. He is out to decimate the club.
Yes many of you will laugh and say "they deserve it". Bravo. Yeah yeah Manly pillaged teams in the 60's and 70's. How many of you people were even alive then???
The bigger picture here is that this is making league in general a bit of a laughing stock and you lot think its funny. Personal Manly agendas aside, does anyone think that this is a good look for league? The AFL would be jerking off to this stuff.P
There is no doubt Hasler is in breach of his contract. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either blinded by their Manly hate or just stupid. Take our pick.
I have worked in MANY places where if someone resigns they are marched on the spot. Simple reason being the company the person is leaving do no want their clients and/or other staff members "gotten at" by the outgoing employee.
Hasler said he would coach Manly this season with 100% commitment.....REALLY????
I have had nothing but respect for Des and his decision to leave. But to bring the club to its knees (and I'm not saying the board are not culpible here) is just wrong and he should go with no payout of any contract next year for his actions over the past month.
My two bobs worth and I'm sure it will be shot down, but he has pushed the envelope way too far.
Talking of idiots.
Idris was offerred 400k from us and didn't stay as he got more or whatever change of lifestyle at titans. Ryan 300k? Tandy 185k, Roberts 220k, Hickey was on stupid overs at 200k. Then blokes like Hodgson, Paea, Armit, Warburton, Tia Kifili etc would of been on 100-150k.
Graham would be on say somewhere around 300k. We re-signed Morris, Ennis, Turner, Barba. From our starting squad. Out of all of them Barba would of been the only one taking any real pay upgrade. Turner would be on similar as would Morris and Ennis. Especially if you believe the fact "Morris is shit" and "Ennis has gone backwards since Broncos"
We have money we just aren't looking at buying a player for the sake of it. We have juniors coming through again finally in blokes like Kasiano, Taupau, Jackson, Finucane etc going up to our top squad and they will make it easier for us not to go buying players and paying 100k for the sake of depth.
IF you can do basic maths you would know we could easily afford Foran especially if Des and him want it sorted. None the less if you can't do basic maths i'm sure if it was the case they wanted to get foran settled in its as simple as Keating your not wanted look else where. Free up another 200k ontop of the other 300-500k we no doubt have left based on BASIC maths.
not sure if it's been said... but maybe it would've been better for the club not to win the premiership
You couldn't use the return key ?
You read my post wrong, I was asking Bunniesman what actions the board had cited for him being stood down.
Suck shit to Manly.
And your lame wad comments "oh won't somebody think of the greater good of the game" are laughable. It is only Manly showing it's true colours here.
Manly signed Michael O'Connor from Saints in my lifetime, so you're little dribble about Manly only pinching players in yesteryear is bullshit too. You would not have to scratch the surface to find others. Norths fans might disagree with you as well.
Your reference to AFL and what they might think of the NRL is as frilly as your knickers as well. Collinton had the same issue earlier this year and had to kibosh the pre-agreed transition of head coach from Mick Milkshake to stand aside for Nathan Barkley.
Untwist your panties, and see the Manly that everyone else sees.
The Kennel fans NEED to make a sign that says:
"Push It Up Manly"
In blue would be nice.
Btw, suck shit Manly.
WTF are you talking about????
I don't give a shit about whether I misread your post. The point I was making still stands.
Read through the pages of shite being dribbled by "fans" of the game of league and you'll catch my drift.
Forgive my ignorance, didn't Manly originally sign Hasler from Penrith in the first place? I'm positive he started his NSWRL career at the Panthers.
Then he played some of his final years at the Magpies, no?
