Jeremy smith copped a grade one for the same thing in last years prelim.

Doesn't have as poor a record as catai so got no weeks

Hayne copped a grade 2 for a similar incident in 09, but also was a flea skin so got off.

Funny how it never went to the judiciary, yet people are whinging about the judiciary for some reason.

Im surprised Matai didnt get charged but it was in retrospect fairly tame, Williams, getting off on a clean record...

yea ok, its not as outrageous as i thought it would be on the night when i claimed both would be free to play...

Agreed, at first I expected a media circus calling for thier heads.
But the charges in hindsight seem pretty close
Williams grade 2 Early plea - free to play
Matai no charge - was not as bad as most people's first over reaction (me included) could have gone either way in the end.

Just sickening.

But it was always going to happen. Its Manly.

I hope the warriors slide in with the knees all game.

For those of you who dislike the decision, there's two clear options. Either get on the Manly -5.5 line at $1.92, or alternatively grab a box of Kleenex and wait a few months for the cricket season.

boo hoo.

Why wasn't Wallace charged for his shot that was a lot higher then Williams'?

Sickening.

What an absolute f**king disgrace.

Manly have just been given a licence to be as grubby as they like by the Match Review Committee.

Why not just hand them the trophy now, that's clearly the way the NRL wants this to go.

As an aside, nobody should ever be charged with dropping the knees again if this is the precedent.

People want consistency in the whole judicial system, yet there are different rules for which game you just played or which game you play next week. What a load of bollocks. The judicial system (including the Match Review Committee Ceagle) can never be consistent as long as there are different rules week to week or game to game or player to player. It's a self-defeating system.
