That's my view as well.
He's our best fullback and he's our best 5/8th.
At the moment, he's doing both, and better than anyone else can. Why change it?
He created our 26 points last night playing fullback, but did most of it from 5/8th. Why change what's working in attack?

It's the 30 points in 20 minutes scored against us that has me far more concerned.

Have to agree. I must say I wanted him to wear th 6 but he obviously can do it all in the 1 and doesn't have to make 30+ tackles a game. This is my major reason why he has to stay in the 1. The more tackles he has to make the more he risks a serious injury when the opposition forwards are targetting him.

Staurt can keep his opinions to himself. if he wanted Hayne in the team at 6 he should have picked him there for NSW

Should've stated it before the City/Country game and had Hayne picked accordingly. Just a piss weak excuse by Stuart to try and deflect the heat of his non inclusion

disgusting, Hayne has been our most dangerous player in SOO for 4 years now...........mostly from the wing spot. To the idiots who believe its fullback or nothing go and get dped, Hayne has almost won done enough to win us games FROM THE WING SPOT!!!!!!!!!!! why the f**k would you even suggest saying fullback or nothing when he has clearly shown he can win NSW the game FROM THE WING.

Bartmans views are absolute crap, Hayne is NSW best player, and top 5 in the world. It is a disgraceful decision, and i really hope QLD win, WHAT THE f**k HAS DUGGAN DONE? hell, i'd even play Gidley there FFS!

On a side note, Ricky has always hated Parra, not surprised about the none selection, i hope the turd is punted after teh series loss

Anyone read the Dragons site on this? All practically creaming themselves over the "NSW Dragons" . All giving Morris BOD and not one mention of the Hayne disgrace.
Looking forward to seeing their reaction when their " magnificent 7" fire blanks.

Yeah, and we leave him out, I'm really hoping we get f**king smoked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just cannot believe it, i really can't, our best player for the past 4 years, so we leave him out...

Brett Morris, is this a f**king joke? he hasn't got the skill levels to compete at such a level, hell, i reckon he struggles at club level, he's the perfect example of a player made to look better by his surroundings, much like Dave Williams.

Absolutely no doubt Ron. Stick either of them at Parra, and they don't make the side.
Stick either of them in St George or Melbourne's lineup's and they are shoe ins.
Just like Hayne. This is why our selectors are so incredibly inept.
Fulton, you are a complete f**kwit.

well have fun supporting Stuart and his debacle. I cannot be a supporter of that team that's full of bad selections. I rate the Hayne non-selection as the worst ever in origin history. NSW need Hayne more than they need Dugan

Soward
Pearce
Ennis

So where is the attack going to come from, the 3 above?
On saturday night Hayne had 6 LBA 1 TA and 1 Try. NSW need Hayne badly.

Qld would be laughing in Staurts face right now leaving Hayne out and Staurt eve makes a comment saying he thinks Hayne's best position is 5/8. Now he's telling Kearney where to pick hayne at club level.

NSW is my team and I would never give up supporting them. Let alone even joke about supporting QLD.

I agree. Hayne's omission is definitely the worst one in recent history. And I agree QLD will be sleeping a lot easier without him there.

I certainly won't be supporting queensland but bozo and ricky are doing their darndest to ensure that I'm not interested in our games showpiece event.

At least mannah should get more than 10min this year.

Mannah's selection is quite puzzling to me.

Can you name me a prop from NSW who has made more meters than Mannah?
Or one who gets a quicker play the ball?
Or one who has had 2 (two) "duels" with Mat Scott (best prop on earth) and still made meterage?

Why is Mannah on the bench? Why not wearing the 8 jersey? Or the 10?
He's had Origin experience, has been phenomenal in the meterage department this season, and hasn't shirked any defence.

Jason King is certainly one of the more intelligent props in the comp (has a law degree) - but 92m per contest, 21 tackles per game and a mammoth 5 tackle busts on the season....
That's in 45 minutes per contest too.

Snowden is on fire recently 123m per contest, 29 tackles per game and 16 tackle busts. In 56 minutes per game.

Mannah is clocking up 130m per contest, 25 tackles per game and has 9 tackles busts. All in 44minutes per game.

If you had Mannah and Snowden starting, you could guarantee more meterage and better defence around the ruck.

No idea what is going on there...

Mannah and Snowden are the only two props playing near Scott's level atm although Petero is getting back to form.

Mind you any prop playing under Bennett seems to go well.

Jason King is definitely the odd one out. At least Merrin might be a player of the future. Young's selection is stupid too but he is a tough bugger so hopefully he proves everyone wrong.
