Mannah in, Hayne out

He showed last night he has what it takes. Pity the other 16 turned up their toes in the last 30.
BTW, why is it Hayne's job to inspire his team mates to a win? I thought once on the field, that was the captain's job.
You're agenda is plainly pathetic. Anyway, let's just keep blaming Hayne for everything.

Suity
Grow up Suity, just because an opinion is different to yours doesn't make it an agenda.

I'm not blaming Hayne for anything - I'm saying I can understand why he was left out of origin, and let's see how he responds to this next week for his club? Will it bring out his best two weeks in a row (for the first time this season), or will he go missing? I think we both hope it's the former.

A very valid point but why does this only apply to Hayne? I remember leading in the dying minutes of game three last year till Ennis lost his temper and gave QLD an oppertunity to win the game in which they took!
I agree, the Ennis selection isn't ideal. Not a Stciky fan, but I guess he thinks Ennis uses his temprament to get the best for his team (which he does through his sledging etc), whereas Hayne's temprament problems are more individual, and don't have a positive effect on his teammates - I don't know?

This Game 1 side will lack the attacking impact that Jarryd can bring - and guy slike Idris can also bring that too. But as someone else said earlier, it looks like Ricky's also looked at the flaws in those guys' games, and is giving other guys a chance to show what they've got first up. Jarryd can always get a call-up for Game 2 if he keeps his form from last night consistent, and if the Blues side needs some more attacking options.

just saw the team, not looking forward to the game to be honest. No Tolman, Hayne or Farah. King? Jennings? fair dinkum no wonder players are all saying they want to play for QLD.

This is the bit I don't get, his form last night would have him ranked as the best or top3 player week in week out. He has been quite compared with this amazingly lofty standard, which apart from the platform laid by Mannah and Fui, has him single handedly pulling the rest of the team along through the game. It seems that Stuart/Selectors are buying this view/opinion.

Stuart is a myth. Had the best roster at the Roosters for 5 years and only won 1 GF. Was brought in to change Cronulla and brought about the complete disintegration of their attack. So considering the team selected, we have his bore-a-thon defensive crap which didn't win anything for the Sharks to look forward to.

Congrats to Mannah, thoroughly deserved. But for me, a born and bred Blue Blooded supporter, I won't even bother tuning in, let alone waste money on going to the game.

QLD will be paying $1.01 head to head based on this crap NSW side

If Stuarts claim that he believes Hayne is more a 6 than a 1, why didn't he have him selected to play there in the City/Country game

I doubt anyone did even including Hayne.....always thought Stuart had more balls to be honest than to come up with something weak like he did

I'm ith you. Never in my life have I wanted to see QLD win a game. Happy to see them win by heaps. I can see the changes for game 2 already Carney 6 Idris 3 Hayne 1 (though no doubt they will stick with the shut squad for the series)

I have been a passionate Blue supporter all my life but I cannot support that team for it's selections. My team

1. Hayne
2. Morris
3. Idris
4. Gasnier
5. Uate
6. Mullen
7. Pearce
8. Weyman
9. Farah
10. Mannah
11. Watmough
12. Gallen
13. Luke Lewis

14. Billy Rogers
15. Merrin
16. Snowden
17. Beau Scott

No creagh - anyone who shoves Hodges and then hides isn't tough enough

For once I wish hodges was actually playing, to see him go after creagh and watch creagh be a skirt I'd pay to watch again.

Wasn't Keating 5/8 for city? Obviously he was a chance at playing origin

I can see what Ricky is doing, go to suncorp for game one, get pummelled by QLD, then make wholesale changes by bringing in the inform troops like Hayne, Tolman, Lewis, Idris etc...

...and then get pummelled in Game 2 regardless, as per the series results for the past five years.
