In his defence, where was the support on the inside. If you dont back up your ball runners that happens

Another week and Manu is at it again - another lame performance and he again let the team down at a crucial juncture. If he is to remain in the team, he needs to be moved to the forwards - but even then I dont think his work rate will suffice. Get rid of him and use the money to entice a more complete winger - Manu was pathetic today and you could see he is afraid of making a mistake. It is especially hard to fathom why he is so shielded from critizism in the wake of Krisnan Inu,s departure and subsequent performances for the dogs.

What a top game! That first part of the second half was a lot like the second half of the prelim final last year but obviously the result was more favorable this time around. Warriors were right in it when Vatuvei made the first offload. The second one is what put a fork in the Warriors.

We were losing, we threw the ball to our most dangerous player to try to conjure up a try in the last 5 minutes, and because he couldn't it's his fault we lost. Of course.

To say he was "lame" before that is just rubbish, he was very strong for the first 60 minutes.

imo he may well have cost them the game. At that point Storm were on their heals. Manu decides to try and go around the outside (has he ever rounded a winger?) and surprise, surprise turns the ball over for a try that sealed the game. Shocking as usual. Another week another Manu classic!

lol, come on. The Warriors were down by four with less than five minutes to go, they had to try something. If that had been anyone but Manu I highly doubt anyone would bring it up, it's not as though the Warriors were up by four themselves anyway.

I irony of Inu right now is mouth watering.

Not really. To be fair Inu has been great for the Dogs but lets get fair dinkum and realistic, it's only been 2 games. He's been around for a fair while now and history would suggest he'll be back to his inconsistent brain fart ways much sooner rather than later. Who knows, Des might be able to coach it out of him somewhat but if i had to have a punt there's a brain explosion or two just around the corner for Inu.

Manu was one of the best players out there today. He made more metres than anyone else and at times, looked to be the only one trying. He 'had' to pass that ball back, otherwise he would have gone out. Any other winger in the comp would have tried the same thing when you are down by four with only a few minutes to go. Had he had support, the play would have paid off.

He consistantly makes meters, consistantly bends the line and is hard to tackle. The unfair, inaccurate Manu bashing that has been going on of late is rather ridiculous.

Agree..Vatuvei has an average game and everyone snipes at him for no reason.

IMO though he should have cut inside on both occassions and looked for an inside runner as opposed to going down the sideline. His size does not really matter when the Storm defenders just swarmed on him.

Exactly.

fmd, the Warriors didn't score any points for the last 60 minutes. Manu takes it upon himself to make something happen in the last 5 and because it doesn't come off he's the reason we lost? We were already f**king behind!
