He's been carrying that injury for ages. Spoke to him after the win over the Cowboys and it was giving him grief then. Prob needs a week or two off to get it right, but these next 2 games are so crucial to our season not sure we can afford that. When's Gavet back?

I love Taupau and his work rate is awesome. But geez he has to work on his discipline around the ruck. I just watched the replay and he gives away 3 or 4 penalties in a row at some point.

Taupau was pretty sluggish in defence last night and the Sharks exploited it in scoring their third try. If he's carrying a knee injury then the upcoming bye will serve him well.

It looked intentional to me especially roughing up Gallen. He did it in every tackle should have been penalised more. It worked for us they frustrated the Sharks late in the game.

Carney grabbed hold of him by the hair when trying to tackle him not long after he came on.

Tapau then got a bit grubby. His discipline was very poor.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't grabbing a players hair constitute a high tackle? Nothing came from that IIRC.

I like how grubby he can be. Yes it cost us a bit in terms of penalties but we need players like Tupau and Gavet to get in the opposition's face. The old Tigers pack would have backed down to the onslaught. Gavet and Tupau don't back down ever.

Seems to be playing 15 mins per game lately.

One good run and off load at the start that led to a line break.

Rest of the game - nothing
