Easy to say in hindsight but this team wouldn't have been ready to play without him, as was evident the last 2 years. He left at the perfect time as Ponga, Clifford and Clune have developed.

Clune is here on a fraction of Pearce’s wage, Clifford played with Pearce last season and Ponga was fairly quiet today tbh.

Pearce was a dud and that has been said ad nauseum for the majority of the time he was at the club.

Total handbrake.

Anyway, a great team performance and finally the ball is moving and we get the benefit of that plus decent kicking options instead of the Pearce standard end to sets.

Fanf**kintastic win!

Did Young and Tuala show why Hunt may now be winger #3?

Too much to comment on but overall 1-17 couldn't be happier! Yes even Mann and Fitz! Wasn't perfect but there were great signs.

Not sure what you're arguing mate, I'm as happy as anyone Pearce has moved on. I was just debating the call of him being a handbrake for 3 years. Like it or not we suffered without him more than we did with, over the past 3 years.

Was too enthralled in watching to post during the game. That hasn’t been the case for years.

Defence was incredible. Halves are fantastic. Still a bit clunky in attack, thought Mann double pumped or took one step too many too often, causing some flat footed runs, but we have bodies in motion, which looks threatening.

Absolutely dominated many an expert’s favourites.

Arguing?

f**king ecstatic we look like a footy team and the ball is moving and being kicked higher than 4 metres, end over end for no result at the end of every set.

Wooohoooo!!!!
