I'd just like to look forward to a game with the anticipation that we will put on a great show and maybe win.
It's at the point where I'm looking forward to the game but there's no real excitement.
It's like a weekly therapy session that gets you nowhere.
I don't think that feeling really returns (for me) until Pearce is back to be real with you.

staying healthy is a skill and Best doesn't seem very good at it.
hasnt been able to string more than a couple of games together ever, even as a 16 year old.

Go to my local each Thursday get on the beers and watch the footy. Might leave early tonight to avoid it.

I usually game with my mates on the PS4 on Thurs nights with the footy on in the background

Might just game with nothing else on tonight

Ah yes, my weekly dose of frustration is nigh. How many interesting ways will we find to shit the bed this week?

Let's be optimistic - tonight is an opportunity for Jake Clifford to carve up a poor team and give us false hope that he can replicate anywhere near that when he puts the jersey on next year.

Cowboys by 40.

Mann is decent at minimum pretty much every week. One shocker has made people forget that very quickly.

Can we be optimistic about Sasagi? I thought he was a half no?

Is Dom Young still out?

2 shockers in a row by my count, and boy they were doozies. And it's not true that he's decent every week, either. He's historically been a doorstop for our attacking shape/movements - and only very recently started showing some signs that he may have turned a corner. I think for most (myself included) - the 2 shockers back to back and more or less put him back to square one in our minds.

He's playing as a half when he's clearly not a natural half. Throughout his 2 and a half years here he's been put in just about every position and done a job far more often than not. If half the team played with the effort he does we wouldn't be in this hole.

Left the pub early and picked up a 3 pack of green demons to numb the pain. Look out boys the Cowboys are going in dry.

I don't believe any NRL side with Kurt Mann in their spine wins a premiership, put it that way. He can turn up sometimes, and has a dig more often than not, but he isn't very good at anything in particular - and when he doesn't get every single thing in his limited repertoire right on a given night it can look like a car crash.

It's not like the club haven't seen this, either. We've got Pearce and Clifford lined up for next year for a reason.
