Was going to write exactly the same before seeing your post.Probably the best we can do besides Crossland.
At least Watson gave you a genuine running threat and foot speed, Crossland is a low, low end athlete with little to no running game and also doesn't have any real utility value. The sooner we see the back of Crossland the better. They are trying to have him play a Watson role from last year and he's simply not up to it. Too many mistakes, poor tackles and wrong options..
Crossland is no different.Clune at 14? Where does he come on?
No thanks. I dont want him defending in the middle or at hooker
He has been carrying his knee injury for a while.Clune must be injured cause hes not even named in Cup this week. Probably that knee
Come on mate, he's busting his backsideAt least Watson gave you a genuine running threat and foot speed, Crossland is a low, low end athlete with little to no running game and also doesn't have any real utility value.
I don't see what he brings and I also don't really see much a ceiling either in terms of potential.
that too long was 40 minutes.......Come on mate, he's busting his backside
Not that I'm a Hoy fan but what atrributes does Crossland have that makes him a better fill in hooker than Hoy?
He's a better middle defender yes but in a 20-30 min spin he's not that much better to offset his inability to cover backline positions nor his attacking threat (or lack there of). It really is a sad state of affairs when we're picking a bloke whos about the same size of Sam Walker for no other reason than because hes not a complete train wreck defensively.I'm all for never seeing Crossland in first grade again, but he's an OK defender in the middle.
Hoy (and sasagi) are not.
