A pretty impressive game from the team, considering the weather.
All the talk about there massive backs & they were outshone by our two little fella's.
Don't know where Reynolds fits in, he will get his turn but not yet by the looks.

Awesome to be sitting in 1st. Opposition has been woeful but that's not our problem.

Hopes Farah keeps it up for 6 months and leaves that egg on my face.

what a cracker!!!!!!!

Top of the ladder for the first time in??????? I can't remember if we ever have been......aside from 05 when it mattered on GF day.

A brilliant game plan because of its simplicity, expertly executed.

Farah went to Brooks over Marshall most of the time and that made us a lot more dangerous. Defence was enormous. We really put the shoulder in and got them on the ground well. I was worried about this after the trial. Marsters try saver early in the first half was pure effort and desire.

Its hard to fault anyone so i won't. Although Marshall didn't have a fantastic game.

Farah has turned the clock way back. Hope he keeps it up

Go Tigers!!!!!!!

Marshall wasn't great. Fonua's flaws were there. These two were still pretty good though.

Our forwards were awesome. Jennings also looked decent whereas last week was a concern. I thought Brooks was great. His defence was awesome.

Great, fantastic, brilliant.

As a team they were superb, individually, well today Reynolds put pressure on Marshall and that is a great thing.

It’s only March but let’s hope they keep up that type of effort and performance and they stay injury free.

Oh and surely McQueen must get a run in reserves next week.

I haven’t been a Farah fan, but he was brilliant tonight. Loving our pack and bench rotation, Madge has absolutely nailed it with his selections so far. Our bench is surely up there with the best in the comp atm
Unsurprisingly Madge is making all the right decisions.Reputations & salary mean nothing when it comes to team selections.Especially pleasing that 1 of dickhead Clearys pets the sluggish softy Eisenhuth isn’t getting a look in re selections in our NRL team.

Yep it was a great win based on a great effort today...
Our first 20 minutes were great then we had a period (about 10 mins where we gave away some silly penalties and coughed up some ball. Marshall from dummy half, Robbie a lazy high slap, ET a ruck penalty and another drop ball [can't remember who]).
Then after that it was almost perfect...
3 points for mine about the forwards
  • Twal is outstanding - A worker who will be one of those unsung tough as teak, hit it up all day types
  • Aloiai looks fantastic off the bench as a middle third forward instead of an edge backrower...He just did not have the hands to run those "crash" lines - Masterstroke Madge!
  • Mikaele - A real prospect!!!
3 points about the backs
  • Masters is going to be a very good player!
  • Reynolds applying pressure through his performance in 2nds today is a good thing - I believe we will get value out of him this year at some stage
  • I think our depth is better this year than it has been for a while - The 7 that played today + Momorovski, Reynolds, Nofoaluma, Gamble & Maarbani gives us a reasonable amount of depth to cover an injury or two and unless we get big time by multiple injuries then we should be ok.
1 point about the coach
  • I'm happier with this one than the one who just left - BIG TIME!!!

Ah yes.... Where are the small number of Robbie/Benji haters now?

What a start - two rounds, competition leaders, third in attack, by far the best in defence. Robbie Farah, who a few people (likely escapees from some sort of mental asylum or correctional facility) had BEHIND Jacob Liddle, has the same number of DALLY M POINTS than the Titans do POINTS SCORED in 160 minutes.

Rome wasn't built in a day, but it is a great start. We were so one dimensional under Ivan, but he imbued us with heart and hustle that was very valuable. Madge has taught us this heart and resilience, along with attacking structures that allow players to play their natural game. Our spine are white hot, and our pack are doing well too.

Our starting front rowers lay a great platform, then the big hombres in Makaele, Aloiai (my new hero) and Rusty Packer come on and take charge. Packer last year made over 100m once, and tonight, off the bench, he made 130+. Looks like he's even found his niche. Our backs were also strong - and we even have Nofo to come back. Exciting stuff!

Good signs so far, hopefully we're on top in 23 rounds time. I wonder where the Robbie/Benji hate squad will be then? Perhaps back in prison!

PS. To those that said Benji wasn't great today... when he gets the ball 3 times a set you say he is over involved and should let Brooks take control, and when he lets Brooks run the show apparently he's quiet...?

His role is to be a calming influence on the side and inject himself when he needed, which he did today. He was brilliant last week and solid today, and that's exactly what we need. Brooks plays his best footy alongside this guy and isn't it great that in his last two years Benji gets the 7 he's looked for for 15 years prior.

Not gonna add a lot since most have has probably already been said but how much fitter does the team look, years gone by we probably lead that game 22-6 at the 60th min mark and end up winning 22-20 in a nail biter

And packer ran 150m. The most hes ran in WT colors

Plenty to be impressed about over the opening two rounds but the standout for me has been our bench forwards.

Interesting game, their back should carve up, but

Im a massive packer fan. Ivan the dog misused him last year.
