A halfback he is not. I dunno where Mr. Straight Attack was for the field goals. Crossland was our worst tonight, but he had some mates. All in all, we completely lost the plot in the critical phase of the game and got what we deserved. It was very hard to watch.

Super impressed that McCarthy was able to have such a bad start and turn it around, made a really good account of himself overall. Was willing and strong in yardage, and went looking for the ball several times late when you could’ve excused a rookie for shying away. Won’t show up in the stat sheet but 2 tries only happen because of his kick contests as well.
