We have to face the distinct and somewhat disturbing possibility of two wins in a row.

It should be a more lively and equal contest as they have a stronger side than the eels who are re rebuilding and also Ryles was punishing non performers.

I think they may try some chaos..ie take more chances earlier than the eels

But from last week, it seems to me that we are broken-play friendly.

And not all our forwards are lumbering boofs.

It was pleasing that we found a way to put a score on the eels and we not really near optimum. Maybe at 70-75%.

Around the grounds and I know they lost, but I saw some appetizing attacking shapes from the Dragons one doesn’t often see.

I was saying to @Jubilee that we should practice them to see if can replicate them.

The extra man in the line, bodies in motion, angles, decoys, cut out passes.

And I’m old school but prefer we try to this earlier in the tackle count. Our backs look willing.

This game will tell us a lot about us & where we really stand.Dolphins need a win are at home for 1st time & are a damn lot better team than they’ve displayed.Ive got no doubt this will be the toughest game thus far for us.If we win this then I’m willing to believe we are genuine contenders for the 8 even at this early stage of comp.

It will be a massive boost to the 2025 project if we can get over the line.

The disproportionate amount of goodness posed by the inclusion of Api and Bula was interesting last weekend.

But we were facing a team in dire straits.

We made errors, took wrong options that we need to reduce.

To keep them scoreless would have been appropriate for a proper gun side

I’m not overlooking some good things, but “steady as she goes” Ted.

Plus we need to distance ourselves from this one off flirting with success. We need consistency.

This is an important game. Can we remain competitive?

Cheers.

And if I may indulge and drink from the cup of footy honey.

Whilst chaos is fun, I thank the backline for smart and effective passes. We applaud Tito ( richly deserved) but he doesn’t get there without help.

I did see one of our props run like a back. I had to rub my eyes.

The enduring legacy of the team actually playing as Benji commanded. And paws up for Benji for a good game plan and getting through to them. And what a game by the Canberra guy we wanted but couldn’t entice. Mom performance.

Starford finally plays the game we bought him for. Strength and power.

Skelton, wow…continues to impress.

Now I resume to regular programming.

No surprises in the team selection v Redcliffe. Zero.

I thought we’d all decided Heath needed a solid break from the cut and thrust of first grade. He could settle in for awhile in the Reggie’s and hone his anti-rag doll capabilities!

Why Benji why?!

I hope it’s a cunning plan or plot!

So long as we are flying in a Nobel Prize winning Swiss doctor to treat Bula.

What about his run up the middle and deft offload..to Doogie.

4 tacklers left in his wake, they went down like flies.

No to Faatape I’m afraid. We need to get over the addiction.

Has star played any fullback?
