I liked AD when he was fit and I endorsed him as a centre.

He had the odd moment with his boot and added extra in attack.

If I was coaching, I would expect every player to be able to kick a basic grubber to land within a metre or so of target.

Every back should also be able to kick a clear 20 metre parabola, that hangs a bit for an in goal assault and the appropriate backs rush in.

And shotgun pin point 15 metre passes whilst in motion.

Drop a ball and it’s 2 laps of the oval.

Repeat pattern.

Craig Gower would be my passing coach. Unbelievable.

TDS has been a bit forgotten lately.

Nado back to his scintillating best
When was the last time he was at his scintillating best TSP? I cannot recall when he was ever just, 'at his best'. To much MIA for my liking.

Lost their Rd 6 grand final, hopefully a much better performance in this weeks grand final.

I also can't see anything from AD except a walk out the door at the end of the year. He was never quick and after a 3rd ACL he'll be downright slow. He won't be able to handle the centres. 2nd row is about all he could play now and we'll be able to get better cheaper. Our current crop, while not in form are better.

I'd also give Naden a shot on the wing. He's big enough for it. This is the most under valued and under paid position in any team in my opinion. Shit they get through some work, especially early in the tackle count. The fact we haven't got any great wingers has held us back massively. Amongst other things.

No doubt expecting AD to b out the door end of this season but as we don’t have a stand out centre partner for Olam imo AD has the capability to usurp the other contenders.I just hope for his sake that when he returns he gets through the season without incurring another major injury & puts enormous pressure on Benji via form to select him in our 17.

We certainly need another quality centre.IMO a fully fit AD is more than capable of locking in a centre spot in back half of this season
I actually the Faataape was coming along ok. Missed a few tackles but he’s not Robinson Crusoe in that dept. Not perfect by any means but he looks like he’ll be fairly solid. I’ve got bigger worries about destroying Bula. I think he needs a stint back with the kids (not that he isn’t good enough for NRL) but after watching his last few I think it’s time to let the pressure off for a bit, a month or so, more for development than anything, we’re not gonna make the 8 this year so develop him rather than flog him is my thoughts.

Back to this game, call me
Mad but I think we can win this. Forwards will really need to aim up but something in my guts tells me we’ll go ok this weekend, if Api plays a full 80 (I’m surprised he’s actually named) while he is playing at 120% I reckon he is running about 70%. Machine!!

Agree with the wingers being an issue at the moment. I'd also prefer to give Naden a shot there too rather than centre when we have To'a and Faataape to a do a job there. We haven't seen Lobb or Alaimalo at all in the top grade at all and with Tupou moving on, we'll need someone to starts sets strongly next year. A top line winger would be great, but I'd even be looking at signing someone like Jordan Pereria mid-season to provide some actual depth.

I thought Api looked a bit both frantic and tired at stages against the Dragons. I reckon he really could have done with the rest and with Simpkin on the bench, there was really no need to leave him out there. Everyone seemed a bit nervy, which was a problem, because I thought if the lads could have settled down, played straight up the guts and kicked for the corners they could have ground their way back into the match.

Thank f**k Lachie is back. Win or lose, the two Fainu brothers, Bula and Galvin are some of the best young prospects in the game. Glad we have them in the team

Hard to say how we will fare this year, but these young blokes along with the experienced players we currently have and Luai coming next year should be huge for them and us supporters.
Just hope blokes like Stefano see it that way as well.

I have to question the wisdom of Parra taking a home every year to typical farkin stinking hot Darwin. There's nothing wrong with that in itself if you took a team there like Canberra, Melbourne, or the Warriors, who play in a colder climate than you do. They always play against a QLD team though which turns the game into a disadvantage.

Makes me better about being a Tigers supporter. We're not the only one's.......

I admit I thought that too. Penrith will likely be too good but with the team we have there’s no excuses not to give it a red hot crack.
We are 2nd in completion rates and we'll have to be like that to go anywhere near these panthers.
