The players we have just are no NRL standard and most never will be, they don't have the conditioning, the skill, the fitness to handle a full 80 minutes of NRL level football. No amount of coaching, no amount of pre seasons or NRL experience will ever change that with this crop of players. It's just not possible.

Can we start questioning brown yet? 18 months in and in my opinion the only thing that has improved is that we have a go in defence for 30 minutes now instead of 10.

Who in this squad is improving? Not sione, not the saifitis. Levi, maybe. They should all chuck a tigers and go to good clubs.

Only thing that prevents me from doing so is I'm convinced this club is just rotten to the core. Optimistic outlook right. Starting to give up hope if any resurrection. I'm not convinced any other coach besides the top few could do much. Who would want to come here anyway.

No arguments from me, it's a farce. It wouldn't bother me if I thought we were moving forward, but as you said, I'm not convinced we've improved much at all, and anyone can come in and sack the lazy blokes.

A lot of our players would need grooming in an experienced team.
I reckon we cut the numbers we need to groom and get more than just a few experienced guys in.
We will lose potential first grade players but will be kinder to those we keep.

It looks like we're in for another 14 weeks of last year from here on out. We're just going to have to cop it unfortunately, but this won't be good enough next year. No coach survives 3 years of this shit.

You know, the open market. Brown busy only targeting the rep players who have laughed at us. Meanwhile plenty of guys who are better than starling or stockwell get snaffled up.

The fact is we hit rock bottom at the absolute wrong time - when the cap exploded, and TPA's became insane.

No one in their right mind who is wanted by ANY other club is coming to play with us - doesn't matter how much we have to spend, there are half a dozen clubs that can match any offer with dodgy money.

Still astounded we signed Ponga - and will be even more astounded to see him run out for us. We really stole him before it all teed off. Almost feel sorry for the kid.
