He was killin' it in the few games I watched.

Like our halves, Dufty was killing it when our forward pack was donminant and less attack was coming our way.

Dufty is not worth half the money his manager is reportedly asking for Let's not forget one of many sub standard first grade disgraceful defensive performances mainly when the bulldogs winger who ever his name is owned him at a packed kogarah oval enroute to a 40'nil drubbing for dufty and eitkin and many other youngsters to realise there potential they require a a task master like Bellamy , Bennett or Hasler sadly under McGregor these players wil never go to the next level

The appeal of giving Dufty a chance in first grade was that he should be relatively good value for money, even if you allow for a reasonable upgrade. But if he asks for too much, gotta go.

yep Boom boom...holding the game to ransom...so to speak. and it eminates down to CRL level. Even juniors see what is going on at NRL level and just give up before they have a chance to blossom
Player managers will have kids who show some promise and are picked up in a NRL system and pathways playing in Siberia rather than their mates for coin if they dont get what they want here, no wonder the game is slowly dying at levels below NRL
Growing the game in the current model only expands and encourages a corporate $ at an elite level wherever they can find it at the expense of the heartbeat

Player Managers are paid to get their clients the best available result.

$700,000 is a lot of coin given Dufty's obvious current deficiencies at this time.

Can't see Millward meeting the asking price.

Hope Millward offers the kid a 2 year contract at reasonable coin to keep him.

At $700,000 Millward will chase other options including Hayne and Holmes.

Will be interesting to see whether Jai Field is released to play with Bulldogs.

If Jai has agreed to join Bulldogs as from 2020, I would let him go now provided we manage to sign Kurt Mann.

Yeah because of his size he is definitely not going to be any good if the forwards aren't going forward. But when they are and in broken play, he looked amazing.

He's exciting to watch.

Yeah its funny isnt it. Its like someone jumps on a perceived defensive deficiency and then everyone joins in and by reading the forum you would think its real. But when you check the facts its actually not true.
BTW I forgot to include Kalyn Ponga in that list (he is an absolute gun) but 67.5% tackle efficiency, a less efficient defender than our dufty.

Agree with you. Ihope we don't lose him. I know him well being a st george local. I know he love playing here but you also have to look after yourself. I think he will stay .
I hope they get ir right with him.
Otherwise it will bit us on the bum one day.
