Wouldn't surprise me if Griffin turns Lawrie into a decent prop next year. He used to play like a teletubby but he's getting better. He definitely needs to work on that goal line defence though.
I don't rate Lawrie as highly as some on here do. If Griffin can improve his game, I'm all for it.

However, we really do need to hire two hard nosed props to go with Vaughan in our prop rotation. For me it will be Kerr and later Blacker who will occupy one of the positions on the bench.

Not by his presser, said he won't make changes just for the sake of blooding unless it was form related.

Bloody ripper Max
You’re making your debut!
Someone has been listening

I’ve done my best to plead your case young fella
Smash ‘em!

Jordy’ll think all his Xmas’s’ve come at once

....if McYoung gives you more than 5 minutes

Ford did a very good impersonation of a typical Aitken turnstile tackle :)
Absolutely

I think Young has been true to his word & not made changes, until the 70 minute mark!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent news, use those 5 minutes wisely mate:joy:
It is great that Max Feagai is getting his turn to shine. I feel the club is now in good hands and that all decisions made from here on in will be made in the best interest of the Club.

Thank you dear Lord, my prayers have been answered.

I have a big smile on my face and Mrs Possm keeps asking me why am I so happy!

Welcome to first grade Max.

You made some good tackles today.

You ran hard with the ball and you have a good step.

I am looking forward to see you play in 2021.

Great to see Max getting 80mins

These juniors will bring so much more to 2021 now that they’ve been blooded

They’ll have the entire offseason to absorb & savour the experience

...& that feeling of having done it & survived is so important psychologically

It’s called Confidence
A feeling of belonging

- Amazing what the full flush of youth confers:

Both Cody & Max looked very composed for rookies

... moreso even than Zac & Duff, who had a few teething problems

- exacerbated by an incompetent coach’s journeymen agenda & inability to relate to youth, or offer astute professional guidance

Funky hairdo

Yeah

Unlike Normy’s stylist’s creation:

... a cut custom made to remain unruffled
& as aerodynamic as possible in the slipstream of others,

Max’s bun matches his ‘ready-to-roll-don’t-mess-with-me’ demeanour & countenance

So this time next year, with
James FB,
Duff & Jayden halves,
Matt & Cody wings
& Zac & Max centres,

... we should have a half decent attacking force to take us well into the finals if Griff can deliver some go-forward & grunt in the pack

.... and especially if his penchant for defence delivers!
Great times ahead IMO

I was actually just thinking a 90% local junior backline w a mongrel pack after the cleanout.I think Griffin can make an inexperienced backline work if he had the forward pack..

1. Dufty
2. Ramsay
3. Fegai
4. Lomax
5. Fegai
6. Sullivan
7. Hunt

8. Vaughan
9. Mciness
10. Welch
11. Sims
12. Mcguire
13. Asiata or JDB

14. Ofenhengaue
15. Kerr
16. Blacker
17. Sailor (Probably leaving)
