Looking at those incidents compared to each other, they're completely different.

Wallace was falling, Smith was coming in with the shoulder first and just happened to catch Wallace with the elbow accidently.

Prior only had eyes for Thurston's head, waited until after he passed the ball, then deliberately aimed his elbow for the side of his face and raised his whole forearm.

What are you talking about? Smith was coming in, was set to miss him, and at the last minute he consciously and purposely cocked his elbow and put it to Wallace.

You make out like he was committed to that!

Based entirely on my limited cognitive abilities, I'd say 7 weeks.

Assuming consistency, if T'eo was initially graded to miss 4 matches, I'd assume Prior will be facing a ban of approximately 87 matches.

Sickening stuff, will be somewhere in the region of 6-12 weeks.

All will depend on the ability of the Dragons to put a very solid run of comparables before the judiciary (there are, unfortunately, plenty of similar-ish incidents which have not been adequately punished over the years).

What shits me is the inconsistency of it all, because we can all make gifs just like that. I find myself spiting any sort of actions or bans on the basis of the hundreds of ditto incidents I see go without incident or ban

Going by the comments in here, you would think prior knocked thurston out and broke every bone in his face.

It was late, reckless at best and high. He should get no more than 8 weeks.

Segeyaro on the other hand jumped up, hit Hornby fair in the head with his shoulder and based on what teo got for a similar act, he should get 5 weeks.
