IF he gets the charge graded by the match review committee, he'll likely cop a STRIKING charge, not a high tackle.

In that case, he's looking at a Grade 3 or 4 in my opinion.
Grade 3 Striking = 325 points = 3 games (minus early plea, plus loading etc)
Grade 4 Striking = 425 points = 4 games (minus early plea, plus loading etc)

He COULD get it referred straight to the judiciary, in which case he's looking at 6+ games.

Most Dragons fans seem to agree he should be suspended so I don't know what you're on about.

My guess 6-8 weeks. Won't be missed too much. He has been terrible this season and was probably on the verge of being dropped anyways.

The legal team would probably argue the same if he got charged with a Grad 5 Intentional High Tackle.


If the Ben Ross elbow on Cooper Cronk is any example, he got 7 weeks for an ungraded striking charge.

I feel sorry for the guy regarding what has happened family wise but you can't honestly expect Prior to get any sympathy after that dog act. I'd give him a little key way if he'd gone out on the piss and played up, but once he's on the field, off field issues should count for squat.
